I actually can't wait for this. I missed out on Earth, but I'm setting my schedule now so I can see this one.

I hope they're releasing a Blu-Ray combo for this in September. The combo was the better deal for earth.

Anybody happen to know who did the music for the trailer? I was hoping to look it up on IMDB, but IMDB doesn't even have a page setup for it yet. I know Sigur Ros did the trailer music for earth, but this is not Sigur Ros.

Interesting. I searched for DisneyNature and a listing for only three movies came up. Oceans was not one of them, rather a different movie called Ocean World 3D was listed instead.

Last year Disney planted a tree for every ticket sold opening week for the movie Earth. Wonder if they've got anything special planned like that for Oceans.

If you watch the trailer, at the end of the trailer it says:
See Oceans opening week and DisneyNature will make a donation in your honor to save our coral reefs

The song is called "Wonderful" and it's by Gary Go.

With
Oceans hitting screens in April, does anyone know if Disney will put out their wildlife-related DVDs like they did last year when
earth was in theaters?
I was hoping to get a copy of
Never Cry Wolf, but I missed it. Would be cool if they did, and include a free movie ticket for
Oceans like they did last year with
earth.

I can't wait, it makes me happy to see these films. Maybe they will do much good and much of the topics covered will be saved from destruction, be it animal or landscape!

Last year when earth hit theaters, to promote the movie, Disney rolled out a bunch of their older movies on DVD featuring animals like Never Cry Wolf. If I recall the movies included movie cash or a coupon to see earth. Anyone know if they'll be doing the same for Oceans?

I don't know. That's a good question. I forgot all about them doing that.

I don't know. That's a good question. I forgot all about them doing that.

These are the movies I remember making an appearance on store shelves with movie money to see earth:
Cheetah
Benji the Hunted
Never Cry Wolf
Sacred Planet
Last Flight of Noah's Ark
I can't remember if there were any more. If they do the same thing, I can see them pulling out ocean-themed movies like
Aliens of the Deep,
Ghosts of the Abyss, maybe even
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Here's
a new sneak-peek at
Oceans, called "Exploring Oceans".
