The sad thing is that most of the article talks about his musicals and not his cancer. It's sounds like he'll be fine though.

It was caught early, so I think his odds are pretty good. And that is why you should have regular examinations, fellows.

And he's been working really hard for the last 18 months or so, finalizing the score for "Love Never Dies" and working on a "Wizard of Oz" revival. I pray he makes a speedy recovery.
