Ahhh, I will pass on Monsters Inc. Blu-ray. I am fine with the 2-Disc DVD. Now for Up, I do wish Disney would give us $10 off on a new blu-ray release like they have been doing. But I think because it's a 4-disc set, we just might not see it. but who knows right?

When you order from Amazon, do the movies come with slipcovers?

Thanks, Soup for posting this deal! I think I will be sticking to Toys R Us, though. With Snow White and Lilo/Bolt, Toys R Us had the best deal on release week compared to Target and Best Buy. I'm counting on Toys for a good deal for Monsters and Up.

tlc38tlc38, I've personally never ordered any movies off off Amazon, but members here who have have gotten one or none and it varied with new and old releases. So, you can't really count on Amazon to be consistent.

I did just order the Snow White: Diamond Edition release and received it with the slip cover. So I don't think you have to worry about it.

All movies from amazon that I've ordered in the FIRST WEEK come iwth a slip cover.

I too hope that Toys R Us has a deal for the two, however they never did for a Bug's Life? Unless I'm mistaken? I'm going to pre-order them now, and as always look for deals when the release date gets closer!

I can be about 99.99% sure that if you buy it both at Best Buy on the same day, they will have that offer too! It would be stupid for Best Buy not too, and they usally do!!

Let's see, I ordered Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, and Ratatouille on Blu-ray on September 22nd and they all had slipcovers.

Snow White had one as well.

WALL-E 2-disc didn't have one, but I don't think it ever did.

Other movies I ordered from amazon didn't have slipcovers, like Ghostbusters and The Dark Knight.

Anyway, I've already got these pre-ordered, but I think I'll have to cancel it and re-pre-order to get the discount!

Wouldn't the order price just been readjusted with the new deal?

Its usually random if you get a slipcover new from amazon or any online stores.....to me the slipcover would be nice to have but I am not going to decide not to order it just because it may not have slipcover.....

And Yes I accept Escapay's Award for common sense about Slipcovers that he might award me with in the form of dancing pink elephants for my thoughts on slipcovers

sometimes, I would just reorder it.

SLIP COVERS HAVE ALWAYS COME WITH MY AMAZON ORDER...on the first week though. After that it's totally been a toss up.

I said it once and I will say it again...I can be about 99.99% sure that if you buy it both at Best Buy on the same day, they will have that offer too! It would be stupid for Best Buy not too, and they usally do!!

Yeah but at Best Buy I have to pay tax, and drive 6 miles to get there...I think I like the Amazon option better.

6 miles? Where do you live?

I'm sorry going by thier locater online the closest one is 7.15miles away. I live in NJ.

I live in NJ too, and there's NO WHERE to buy Blu-ray movies in my town (the grocery store I work at actually did get the Snow White Blu-Ray though, probably because it's the only version currently available).

In fact, there's no where to buy toys, movies (besides new releases), video games (except for crap games that my store has), or anything except pizza and groceries where I live. We don't even have a video store or a movie theater here!

Anyway, ranting aside, I re-pre-ordered the movies, that's a great deal! Under $25 each!

Finally.....an explanation, lol. I preordered these two movies, along w/the new HP and saw a $10 discount, and thought wtf? I just went along w/it, but at least now I know what it was for.
