It's a well - known fact that this is coming to DVD on Tuesday, and I plan on getting the "Deluxe DVD Edition + Digital Copy". Does anyone know if there will be a coupon for it?

I don't think there will be a coupon.

I wish there was though. I'll be picking it up on Blu-Ray later this week, as well.
But this isn't really a "Disney" movie (well, it is, but not like... well you get my point) so I don't think Disney will do a coupon.

Darn. I have about $35+ worth of CDs/DVDs to buy and no cash, and $5 left on an FYE gift card.

Yeah, that's uh... not gonna work. The only reason "Snow White" got as much as it did was because it was a higher profile release and Disney was convincing many consumers to rebuy something they already bought at least once.

I know that. But Snow White wasn't the only other release that has had coupons (i.e. -
Hannah Montana: The Movie and
The Jonas Brothers Concert DVDs and Blu-Rays), so I wasn't sure about that.

"The Proposal" Blu-ray/DVD combo is on my Amazon UK wishlist...not in any great hurry for it at the moment...though I do love me some Sandra Bullock.

Thanks! How do you find all these coupons, jrboy? Like where on the website do they have these? I'll definitely be picking this up before Sunday, so I'm excited!

I found the coupon while looking at
Hot Deals Forum at blu-ray.com, but it's usually a mix between blu-ray.com & dvdtalk.com

Disney taking a pass on one of the most profitable movies of 2009?

Apparently there won't be a sequel to
The Proposal due to there not being any Sandra Bullock towels...

While I'm not upset that there won't be a Proposal sequel (it was an okay movie, but it definitely doesn't need to be continued in an inferior way), I think Iger's Disney is way too brand crazy. I don't think you're technically in the movie business if your entire company is running on just a handful of giant brands. And the moment that any/all of those brands begin losing luster, then where are you?

So basically, the movies become the commercials to sell the merchandise. My question is how long will it take before movie-goers start to tire of 60 to 90 minutes commercials. Someone needs to remind Iger that the Walt Disney Studios is primarily a MOVIE studio. Not some merchandise cash-cow.
Now don't get me wrong, I like those mass big-budget special effect films like Alice in Wonderland, Tron Legacy and Prince of Persia. But if that means we'll only get 5/6 movies each year... who all have big merchandise deals, and that's it. Yeah, not so keen on that.
In other news, I can't wait for "National Treasure 171/2: Get A Nicolas Cage Cut-Out Free At Best Buy"
