That is a fantastic deal!
Too bad it's Region A-locked or I'd be ordering it too. The Blu-ray comes out next week in Australia and I'll be shelling out the best part of $50 for the priviledge.
There are some great Disney deals happening at the moment. Planning on getting another couple of things in Amazon UK's Disney BOGOF before it expires in November.

Anyone know when this promo ends? Is it only for a pre-order or will it still be valid a week from now?

Does anyone know if Best Buy will match price with Amzon.com? I know they match prices, but I just don't know if they match prices with amazon????
It might be a promo..thats why I did it. But now I don't know maybe Best Buy does the match price, and with my $10.00 print out code it would be the same thing! Sometimes it so dam tough when everyone has these great bargins!!

MICKEYMOUSE, thanks for posting this! I just read about the huge discount in the UD e-newsletter and ordered it right away before they decided to stop offering it so cheap. I was on the fence about ordering the Blu-Ray since we don't own a Blu-Ray player nor an HDTV. But as you said, this deal is INCREDIBLE and we all know most of us will be wanting this Blu-Ray down the line. Just think, YOU don't want to be writing on these forums in a few years, kicking yourself in the butt for not starting your Disney Blu-Ray collection when you had the chance, especially with a deal like this! I've seen so many posts about people who missed getting Snow White and Beauty and the Beast platinum editions b/c they didn't start collecting Disney DVDs yet. If you are able to order things online, PLEASE take advantage of this offer! (I am in no way affiliated with Amazon.com. I speak to you as a fellow Disney fan and UD member)
My brother also reminded me that I pre-ordered the Snow White Platinum Edition DVD before we even owned a DVD player. Haha. I see a pattern. When they make 3D/Holographic Blu-Rays, I'll probably be ordering that too.
Also, very important: PLEASE use the links in the following! They're direct links to the various Snow White Blu Ray/DVD sets AND by using these links, you'll be supporting UltimateDisney.com.
p.s. Who writes the UD newsletters?

Not sure when the promo code will expire, but as the newsletter said, the $19.99 price will probably not last very long.

I don't think so. Amazon.com is an online retailer whereas Best Buy is a physical location. BestBuy.com sometimes has different prices than the store versions, so I don't think the price matching deal will work at the physical Best Buy.

Yes. Best Buy will match Amazon.com.
But Toys R Us is also selling Snow White in Blu-ray packaging for $19.99.
So you can get it there for $9.99 as well with the print out coupon.
(Best Buy will price match Toys R Us also.)

Thanks I guess I will just pick it up from Best Buy with the 2 stores in mind for match price. I love competion for this reason alone. With unemployment at an all time high, and the recesion we are having in the states right now bargin deals are the best!

Eh, what the heck, I went ahead and ordered this through the UD link, you just can't beat this deal.
So wow, this is officially my first blu-ray.

Just a warning... depending on the person that checks you out, they may ask for proof.
They are usually pretty good about it and I'm sure a lot of people will be asking for the price match tomorrow anyway, so they will doubtfully even question you, but it's best to be safe.
I'd take in a print out of the price from one of the pages if I were you, or you can ask one of the workers in the media department who isn't too busy to verify it for you on one of their computers.

I preordered at Best Buy to get the Steelbook. Will they still price match the Toys R Us price?

I spend so much money there (Best Buy) if they don't do it, I will ask for a manager! And demand they do it! Trust me they don't want to loose a sale in this day in age. Plus I will cancel my pre-order!! Don't worry I will show them proof on their computers too, if for some reason they want to be difficult.
DeathPrime, if they don't then simply return the pre-order, and then buy if with the match price. Trust me you shuold be okay.

I agree! It pains me to see such low a price and not being able to buy it. Shame on Disney for making it region-locked.
And especially for not planning ANY SORT of discount or offer for european fans. (Most of us already own the platinum DVD as well)

I agree it's not fair Disney! I've got the DVD version pre-ordered of Play.com, however am going to order the Blu-Ray version for the future when I get the format, which is what I did with
Sleeping Beauty last year. Does anyone know of any freebies offered in the UK for pre-ordering the Blu-Ray (it's not coming out here till November

). Also it seems that Amazon are only listing the Blu-Ray/DVD set in the DVD case, which I don't want as it will look strange when I collect more Blu-Rays can someone confirm that the combo in the Blu-Ray case is also being released over here
*EDIT* I've just seen that if you pre-order the Blu-Ray from HMV you get an exclusive Film Cell, which is quite nice so I will probably do that. Though I wish the Disney Store was offering something in the way of extras!
Here's the link for the HMV listing for
Snow White on Blu-Ray and it also seems to be in a Blu-Ray case. Guess I answered my own question

No, I worked for Best Buy for almost two years, and they do not match online prices. The only online price they match, is BestBuy.com.
Just have Best Buy match Wal-Mart's price for $19.96. Then use the $10 Coupon, voila, it's $9.96.

Put the Blu-Ray in your cart, then go through the normal paying process. On the page with your credit card info, there's a space for "promotional code", just type in the SNOWHITE code and it'll be credited when you press the button.

Has anyone tried typing the code into the amazon.co.uk? If so does anything happen? Or is this defintely a US exclusive?

Luckily I have a region-free Blu-ray equipment so I can take advantage of this incredible offer.
I ordered two combo sets and got $20.00 off the price! Add the postage, and they still are cheeper than
one set in Europe.
Apparently you can order three sets at the most.
