Very Important Poll

So I've been thinking about this....I've been dying my hair purple, as highlights, but each time, I go a little further back...So should I just do the whole damn head?
BTW...My work doesn't care. I already checked with them
This was 2 months ago. Its not like bright purple mind you. Its a nice dark shade of purple. The last time I did it a couple of weeks ago, I went further back on the top. There is also purple under neath at the nape of my neck, my hair is trimmed so you can see it, even when its down.

Oh yes, a very important poll :-p

I'd advise you to not go all the way. A little bit of an eccentric colour like purple (perhaps the odd streak) would look reasonable enough, but I think full purple would look a bit too daft.

I really like the way it looks now - kind of mystical-y and such. If you went too far it might look worse.

I was thinking about reversing it...more purple, but leaving some streaks of black. But the upkeep on that is harder than just all purple or more black than purple, so I dunno. But the last two times, I've been very tempted too. I really don't care what people think of me. I am 30, I don't do drugs, I don't smoke, I rarely every drink, I'm a devoted single mom, I never got to do this as a kid, and its kinda the one little immature rebellion thing I like to do. I love it when the wind blows and my purple hair falls in front of my face, I know that sounds weird, but I guess its like how some girls like when they get their nails done or whatever, they treat themselves and thinks it looks pretty. Well, I think my purple hair compliments me well. Its now become a trademark of mine...especially since most my shirts are purple. So when I go to work, they comment how I color-match with my hair. My new boyfriend loves my hair too, he would freak if I ever went back to natural, lol. He'd still like me, but he likes it too.

Yes, go all Rogue on us, except with purple and black instead of white and brown.

I think black with purple streaks would look cool.
I dyed my hair black once and I couldn't pull it off . . . I'm back to my natural brown now but kinda miss my burgundy with orange highlights.

I applaud you for not caring what others think, but...
At one organization that I volunteer for, an animal rescue and rehabilitation place, there's a guy who the first time I met him, he had green hair. Granted, he was still a great worker, but I didn't get the green hair...I found it quite strange! But then the next time I saw him, it was like, hey now...he's kind of cute and he loves animals, since no more green!
Basically, if work is okay with it and you want it and your boyfriend want it, and you don't care what others think, then why not, but you'll be taken more seriously if it's just streaks (which I think is awesome). But that's just my $0.03!

Clearly she waxes
On a serious note now, if you REALLY want it purple and you don't care what others think then you should go for it!!!

If you don't like it you can always re-dye it, what have you got to lose...? You might as well try it once and if it's that bad then you know not to do it again
Take a leaf out of GaGa's book

In my free time I run around in a unicorn costume....I'm use to strange looks
And Psylocke, I forgot about her....if only I had that body!
Lady Gaga....no thanks. IMO, there is a right and wrong way to do funky colors. The right way is stylish and fun. The wrong way is silly and gaudy. Of course there are those people who think any unnatural color is silly and gaudy. Its hard to explain the difference better than that. I actually want to say, I want it to look natural...I know purple hair isn't natural of course, but I guess what I mean to say....I don't want to look like I am wearing a Halloween wig.
If I do it, I want it to be like this:
Not like this:
or this
Or like Lady Gaga (who's wearing a wig anyways)...she's like Cher on meth.

Siren, if you're purple hair would look like that, I'd say go for it!

I am not really in favor of people dying their hair because I think it looks kind of strange, but it should really be up to you.

I think she'll get looks already when people notice there's already purple in her hair...
Siren...I am going to say...don't do it.
Now, go be yourself...and if yourself is a rebel...
Get what I'm sayin?
And personally yes I would very much want you to do it!

Mike... have you been on medication over the past few months? Cause that post, like many of your others, made absolutely no sense...

I thought it was reverse psychology. "Don't do it" when he really wants her to do it?
