Okay....as you may or may not realize...the primetime comedy show called "The Jay Leno Show" debuted this week with Seinfeld as his first guest on Monday.....

I would say this show is very differ.....here's my analysis of it and what you can expect or unexpect...

So far...Seinfelds been on The Jay Leno Show Upstaging Leno from Tom Cruise being via satelite for real this time and being asked personal questions along side Cameron Diaz for a new movie they are doing and questioning Kanye West about his wrong doings....and at times it can go from Miley Cyrus being asked to named as many of her father's songs in under 30 seconds - she could only think of f 4 - to Michael Moore singing a Karoake to earn him a plug on the show about his new film Capitalism: A love Story and from Robin Williams talking about his nudity in an upcoming movie and at the sametime making the sensor on the show an expression of CUT THE FEED!!! Face....and from that to making a sandwich with a Laptop computer to Halle Berry embarrasing Jay with a clip from a tv sitcom of the show Alice as Jay guest starred on the show and was hitting on Alice in teh show and had a Grease John Travolta wanna be look and attitude..and finally for tonight having Dealing with the Public....which consisited of real life 911 calls that should never be made.....such as a guy you swear sounds like the old hick that says he's seen aliens and phoned in a UFO a claims to be from 250 years into the past......and also knocking on peoples doors and Jay asking them what they do at 10 and finding out a baby is deathly afraid and cries to no end when Conan comes onto TV....

But tomorrow night at 10/9central watch the last show of this week...it should be good...

I would sooner watch VH1 than watch Jay Leno's new show. I really hope that backfires on NBC.

If the show is as run-on and messy as your description, disneyboy, I think I'll pass. :P

Aside from "Castle" on ABC, I don't think I even watch any shows at 10 pm anymore.

Castle love!

Anyway, The new Jay Leno seriously needs to end as quickly as it started.

anyway I heard that the combo of Rush Limbaugh is going to be on the show sometime this week with Pee-Wee Herman

so...here is the shows website...try watching a few clips or even a few episodes before judging it..

There are some things I like, and a few things that I don't. Overall its good, and its great to have Jay back on TV. I've only watched a couple Tonight Shows after he left. Conan just doesn't work for me on that show at all. I'm in the minority probably, but I've enjoyed Fallon on Late Night better than Conan's Tonight Show.

Anyway the show has a old "Tonight Show" feel which is good, but I miss the desk. The interviews in the chairs seem uncomfortable and odd. A few of the segments need to go (10 at 10 is just bad.). Also ending the show with a segment like Headlines just doesn't work. I understand Jay and NBC are trying to change it up because its not the Tonight Show anymore, but stuff like this should be earlier in the show.

Jay had incredible ratings for the first week, but it will be interesting to see how they do once the new shows start (they will fall, but how far?). Hopefully he can still get at least his old Tonight Show ratings, and NBC doesn't end up cancelling him. 10pm is a very risky time slot for a show like this...
