Monkey Island!!!!!!

I've just downloaded The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition.
They don't make games like this any more. I would say it was the greatest adventure game of all time, but we all know that's Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge.
<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mrNLKNvY2wM&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mrNLKNvY2wM&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
Oh boy. My friends. I cried when I heard the theme music again. I cried. And the special edition is for once, exactly that. The HD graphics are stunning (as is the fact you can hot-switch to "classic" mode) and the game's as funny as ever.
[satire]At last Lucas releases a special edition people actually want![/satire]
Which brings me to my final thought. How Lucas could actually do something of worth away from the Star Wars universe. Come on Lucas, bankroll a Monkey Island movie. Come on, it would be a smash.
