I've never tried STOPzilla.

I use a few anti-spyware applications... SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot Search and Destroy, MalwareBytes, SpywareBlaster (for Immunization of Firefox and IE... Don't use if you use IE8 since it slows IE8 down), and Windows Defender (because its built into Vista).

Might be overkill to use so many, but sometimes one application want find everything.

Some anti-virus programs have security suites that will block spyware, and you won't necessarily need all the freeware programs (Spybot, SpywareBlaster, etc.). You might want to see if your anti-virus blocks spyware. I use Kaspersky Labs suite and it blocks just about everything so the freebies don't do anything for me.
