Why hasn't Disney created a DVD of this great movie with Fess Parker?? I can not even find it on VHS. Would really appreciate a DVD of it tho'
It has been 50+ years since I've seen it as a child and still remember it vividly. It had great songs too.
THANKS FOR CONSIDERING

I would love if Disney released a "Fess Parker Film Collection" with The Great Locomotive Chase, Westward Ho, the Wagons!, Old Yeller (even if it's not even a big role), and The Light in the Forest. And maybe even the movie versions of "Davy Crockett" just for completists sake.

YES .... I think a "Fess Parker" DVD would be a great seller for us Disney Fans. Besides, Fess was adorable in all his roles !!!

I love Westward Ho, the Wagons. I was lucky enough to find an inexpensive VHS of it a few years back, but they often sell for over $50 on eBay. I would love a propper release, since it was filmed in Cinemascope. And hopefully they will make it anamorphic if they get around to doing it. I'm hoping it will end up a DMC exclusive in the near future, which is really the only hope of getting a release since Disney has abandoned catalog releases.
