Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

My apologies if this thread does not belong here but seems like the most appropriate place even though it is non Disney.
Every one of my theme park visits has been Disney until this spring. My time got cut back at my job and I thought I would give Six Flags a try given it was closer and annual passes were $50. Gotta say I am quite impressed. The wife and kids love all of the animals and the interaction with them is great.
I really dont like roller coasters where your feet hang out but Roar is great and Boomerang is possible. The kids love Cobra.
The water parks and acme foam zone are great and interactive.
Of course what is missing is the theming. But for a difference in annual passes of $370 to $50 I can handle this. Crowds are way sparser too. I miss the Pirates of the Caribbean and Small World type rides.
Gotta say I am enjoying something new.
