Belle without her sash

This is from Disneyclips which gets a lot of clip art from coloring books ,story books etc. Anyone know where the image of Belle is from? Why couldn't they leave her dress like that?

I'm guessing that was probably a continuity error from either the original artist or the guy that traced it from the original artist. :p

Sash, so that's what its called. I just called it the fancy chest sleeve :p .

Actually, I think "fancy chest sleeve" is probably better. I believe a sash refers to something that goes around the waist or from the neck to the shoulder, I believe. Hu noz... :p

Well I think a sash is a rotten old thing you get dirty mice to steal to sew onto your old mangy dress.

I'd have called them straps actually.

I thought a sash was something the narrator from The Night Before Christmas threw up.
