This time the 1982-1983 season. This will be the sixth of eight seasons to be released. Warner says Season 1 with Marvin, Wendy and WonderDog is unsalvageable so only one more season after this. I think 1980 the shorts is the missing one.

Product Description
Almost 500 pages of super hero action are collected in this value-priced volume of stories from the 1970s, inspired by the classic 1970s animated TV series Super Friends.

From the Hall of Justice come these tales starring The Justice League of America, along with their sidekicks Marvin, Wendy and Wonderdog, as they take on foes of every type. Wow, the press release contains a great line.

Therefore in its ultimate stupidity, ABC decided to drop the Superfriends from the 1983-1984 Saturday morning television line-up.

Dont often see stuff like that in a press release.

Fuzzy - get the two superpowers ones. They are the best quality. Quite honestly I am not sure I have ever seen these ones coming out in August. I read the synpsis on a webpage and they do not sound familiar.

I plan to get them all at some point, just waiting for sales... I would even buy the Wendy & Marvin eps if they ever made it to DVD.

During a HTF forum chat a few years ago they said this would not be released due to the quality of the original source material. There was a double whammy because they said the same of Banana Splits in the same chat. Too bad, loved em both.

I found where that line came from...

WB plagiarized the press release, from a fan site??
