As always, I'm open to suggestions for the site and forum content and layout. I'm trying to get some feedback on the forum design.
Your insight is most appreciated.

I'm confused. What frame are you referring to?

I actually got used to seeing frames on the left side.

The top frame is ok too.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing the frame on the left when I came here directly from the main page. Right now my bookmark goes directly to the forum and so I don't see the frame (I still visit the main site though). If I had to choose one or the other I would say I prefer the frame on the top.

to me, it doesn't matter. I'll adjust wether it was on the left, top, right, or bottom. Anyway you do it, I'll still be coming here!

Choice #4.

I didn't vote cause i don't think I fit any of the choices. I did bookmark the forum and don't care for the frames. However, I do regularly check the site(which I also have bookmarked).

I've had mine bookmarked so I don't get frames.
However, i have looked at both (manual) and find the one on top better than the one on the left. by having it on top, it feels like it's been bookmarked and my eyes don't go "wandering"focus shifting) like they did when the frames were on the left.
Hope this helps.

I quite like the way
www.sffworld.org/forums have done it- linking to the rest of the rest of the site using smaller links at the time (just go over there and have a look - easier than me explaining it

That does look good (sans ads and stuff). I've been making the top frame smaller and smaller, though. Is it better now?
I think it looks okay, but maybe I'm biased?

looks better- my bookmark of this site is:
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/ind ... 0945133895
and there aren't any frames in that
Wold prefer it if instead of using frames, u just stuck the stuff at the top of the page instead of a separate frame- links to the rest of the site could be reached by just scrolling up to the top of the page- no need to have a frame sitting on top and people using non-frame bookmarks like myself would also get the links instead of finding an easy bypass

I would too and if I knew how to, I would.

Okay, I'm tinkering around with the forum header files. Although I just started modifying these yesterday, I hope to be able to figure out how to do just what you and I are looking for.

Woohoo, that's done. Now, it's just a matter of editing it to make it look nicer!

Luke,
I guess I didn't see the frames before or whatever, but I like it! Keep it this way!
