Too bad Condorman isn't coming to stores. The Anchor Bay DVD is missed.

I'm so very happy to have a few more of the older Disney movies available to view again. Thank you so much Disney. It's been so long since these titles have been available, and some of them are new to me. It's refreshing to see some "new" old movies.

I'm really excited for all of them, but mostly Smith and Wild Country, both of which were recommended by Leonard Maltin in his book The Disney Films.
I mostly want to see Condorman because it was over-advertised at the end of the old white clamshell releases from the 80's. I hope they do them all in OTR.

Condorman is available in the UK, I like the other titles more.
Is there a site where they made annoucements for the new dvd's?

Some preferable choices:
Sammy the Way-Out Seal (Billy Mumy, Robert Culp - theatrical version)
Escapade in Florence (Annette - theatrical version)
The Horsemasters (Annette - theatrical version)
The Prince and the Pauper (Guy Williams - theatrical version)
The Light in the Forest (James MacArthur)
The Sword and the Rose (Richard Todd, Glynis Johns)
Charley and the Angel (Fred MacMurray, Kurt Russell)
Mosby's Marauders (aka Willie and the Yank - Kurt Russell, James MacArthur)
Moochie of the Little League (Kevin Corcoran)
Moochie of Pop Warner Football (Kevin Corcoran)
Child of Glass
Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color - Ludwig VonDrake sets

Those are fantastic choices, but why do you prefer the theatrical versions of those titles over the multi-part television versions. Aren't the tv versions more complete? I much preferred the complete versions of Dr. Syn over the theatrical cut which seemed abreviated and lacking in detail to me.
I remember seeing the two part versions of Horsemasters and Escapade in Florence on the old Disney Channel, and I loved them. I'd love to see them released again.

I think the UK DVD of Condorman is in fullscreen. Does anyone know for sure? I have the old Anchor Bay original widescreen DVD release which, as far as I know, is the only way to see it in its original aspect ratio.
I certainly hope that all of these films are presented in their OTR. That sure would be a smart move by the DMC.

Thanks for the pictures jrboy!
Will the other two also get released, or have they dropped them?
Anyone have pictures of Scandalous John & Smith, in that case?

I'm guessing that Scandalous John and Smith will be the next wave.
I placed my order for the two new exclusives and they shipped today. That was fast. Recently it has taken a long time for them to ship. As a result, I shipped them to the address I will be at over the summer and won't have access to them for 2 weeks.

Does anyone else think that Ron Howard's hair on the cover of "The Wild Country" reminds them of one of the Jonas Brothers? That or the kid from "Hatching Pete"?
I guess those old styles are coming back in fashion....lol!

Um, it looks nothing like the Jonas Brothers' hair.

But, yeah, it looks like both kids' hair from
Hatching Pete.

I don't like that hairstyle on boys now, but I can't hate too much if it's just a retro style.

jrboy, thanks for the scans. Do you have a BIGGER scan of The Wild Country? Bigger as in twice the size, so that I can upload it onto dvdaficiandocom ?
