I've actually passed on grabbing this dvd set during the winter holiday when I could have grabbed it for $45, now it seems like its disappearing everywhere even before the 31st.. anyone know where I can snatch this set for less than retail price?

Both http://www.Amazon.com and http://www.DVDEmpire.com ran out of Fantasia Anthology. But I order it at DVD Empire before they had it and still waiting for it. :)

I saw it at a Movie Trading Company for $37.99 last week. It had the 'new' tag on it, but for that price I would have been skeptical (could have been used). I bought it a couple years ago, but was curious about the price. I have also seen them in the $50's....

Did you check the Disney Movie Club?

I saw one left at Wal-Mart when I was picking up some extra pens for school. My last one ran out of ink today. I had to turn in my Blockbuster shirt and nametag today (I no longer work at Blockbuster) and I picked up Beauty and the Beast on DVD today. I saw some lady run in and grab Sleeping Beauty on DVD today. I'm glad I got my copy the day it came out.

Wow..you saw it for $45 not too long ago? Man I would hjave grabbed it then. With the Moratorium coming up it is definitely disappearing...I have not seen any copies around in the last few weeks myself.

I got mine a few weeks back from secondspin.com. They sell used dvds there and I found a copy of the anthology for $35 plus tax. It was used but came to me in mint condition. It was probably the sweetest deal I came across in a while. But check there everyday because even though the set doesnt stay in stock when they get it they update the site every 24 hours.

That is hilarious. I don't know that hotcakes sell all that quickly. I usually get the Sausage and egg McMuffin when we go to McDonalds. Haha.

Both www.Amazon.com and www.DVDEmpire.com run out and then they get more on the way.
It's like back and forth.
When I last check it they didn't have it then the next day they do have it.
Did anyone every order something from DVD Empire? :D
But right now both websites have it on stock. :)

www.dvdempire.com is pretty good with their order, just that most of the time, everything is ON ORDER, fantasia is current on order for them and amazon has it for $60.. DAMN!! just wanted to kick myself for not picking it up when it was $45

HOT CAKES do sell quick, c'mon.. who don't love HOT CAKES? :D

You know you want too...

You may not want to kick yourself too hard. Just go out and get it for whatever you can before you have to go on ebay and pay a ton for it. I would probably rather have to pay $60 for it than not have it or wait and pay $100 on ebay or whatever those people will charge for it.

I have still been seeing it in stores, but the bad news is the price really hasn't gotten any lower. Still mid to high $50's at most places.

Yeah some stores can be a bit slow pulling moratorium moves off the shevles. You might want to try your local Blockbuster too. Mine had a whole bunch of OOP Disney DVDs. It was like I hit the mother lode or something. Had to grab BATB. Still looking for Snow White and Mulan if anyone knows where I can find a copy.

I would have sworn I provided link where to get OOP Snow White.. well I think they still have it here

http://www.fye.com/catalog/moviesProduc ... d=10858885

and again NO, this is NOT my store.. I ordered from them 2 weeks ago and go my order within a week, pretty fast FREE shipping over $49

If it's going to disappear, I'd say get it while you can. In my opinion $50-60 is reasonable for a set like this anyway. This is worth paying for. I would actually have been willing to pay more than the price of the set just for the Clair de Lune segment alone...

They don't PULL the moritorium dvds from the shelves. They just stop making new ones.
