I was at my local Sam's Club the other day, and to my surprise, I noticed some of the previous Platinum Editions, like..
The Black Cauldron SE
Snow White PE [from 2001 or 2002]
Sleeping Beauty [from 2003! The one before the October 2008 one... lol]
and some other stuff I haven't noticed before.
I realized though, it's all the special editions that have been re-released recently or are about to be. I wonder if they're getting rid of them before the new editions are out?
I think it's best to wait out on these releases, right? Like The Black Cauldron and Snow White.

Not sure about Black Couldron, but SW is one of the better SD DVDs, feature-wise, and I doubt all the features(and we're talking loads) will make the transition.

How much were they selling them for?
You could totally get rich by buying up all the Snow Whites and then selling them online for about $10 more than you paid

The Black Cauldron was $15.98, I believe. Snow White was $19.98, I'm pretty sure.
They even had the 2-movie pack of Race To Witch Mountain/Escape to Witch Mountain for $14.98.
Should I buy the Snow White?

I went to my Sams Club today and I did not see any copies of Snow White (Though I already own it) or any of the older Platinum Editions.

My Walmart had a few old DVDs(yeah I know, another thread), but haven't been to Sams Club in about a year. I might just check it out for a couple discs.

Possibly most of the same titles, as was discussed in this recent thread:

Okay.....Usually I am not one to raise any controversy among the forums....so let me do so in a civil and polite manner to the best of my ability to do so...
Is it possible DisneyLuver is playing a practical joke on us...?? I would vote yes but there could be other things too...(unlikely in my mind but innocent until proven guilty)
Perhaps it's only DisneyLuver's Sam's Club which received these DVD such as Snow White... or a select few..... I mean I don't think Sam's Club inventory is a dime a dozen but of course I have not been in Sam's Club since I was 5 years old so I really don't remember much since my visit...... Btw I turn 22 on March 10th..

Lol, no, I'm not playing a practical joke on you.

I guess it is only my Sam's Club, idk.
But no, I'm not kidding.
