I know it's a day early, but a lot of people go out with their loved ones on Friday night. Is anyone here planning on doing anything on this Valentine's Day? I know some people dislike this holiday, but I love it!

Is it Hallmark and Florists Want Your Money Day already?

Pardon my lack of enthusiasm, it covers up for the fact that I don't have a Valentine this year.

Everyone always hates Valentine's Day until they get a Valentine.

Me, it's no big deal. My boyfriend and I went out to dinner tonight because he's working tomorrow, and now we're going to watch "The Empire Strikes Back".

I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, really, but we're bringing our dogs to the annual Waddle, which is a fundraiser event by the rescue group we adopted Harry & Sally from. I'm really excited- last year was our first year, and it was so fun. The only thing is Oliver won't get to do all the events, since we adopted him after we registered Harry & Sally (it's a free event, but you have to register your Basset hound if you want he or she to "march" in the "parade"). But it'll be fun to hang out with hundreds of dogs and their owners!

Aw, poor Oliver, lol.

Yeah...and the fact that he's not a Basset anyway, he wouldn't be able to do most events anyway. Some people do bring other breeds of dogs, but it really is a Basset event. But he'll still have fun hanging out!

AS IF! (Sorry, I watched Clueless last night )

I said I was taking bids, not jumping in the back of the van of the first guy who drives up! (Shut up, Dan, Brendan, Albert, Amy, Tim, and Dave! lol)
