Hey guys, I had just found this CD on ebay the other day and bought it. I was very surprised to hear some really neat and great songs. Kind of made me want to explore other african music. Anyone know if Lebo M did anything else besides The Lion King?[/i]

Aside from working on all 3 Lion King films and the stage musical, he also worked with Disney on Dinosaur, Chicken Little and Mighty Joe Young. He's done work on Congo, Made In America and One By One as well, along with many others.

I have the cassette version of Rythm of the Pride Lands. Awesome album, I need to upgrade. Sadly, I have a lot of great Disney releases from the '90's on audio cassette only, including boxed sets, because I got into CDs kinda late, and many of them cost a ton to get on CD now off Ebay.
Anyway, there is a portion devoted to the album on the Lion King bonus features DVD disc, I believe.

There's an awesome music video that you can find on Youtube. It's called "Celebrate" it's a commerative music video celebrating the 10th Annniversary of the new South Africa (made in 2004).
