I've never seen it, but they shot part of an episode (I'm not sure know which one, I think it was Ep.12 of S2) at my friends dad's truck yard in Miami.

One of my favorite television shows, and it just got renewed for a third season.
I like the way they have done the second season, a first half, then a break, and now the second half.
Jeffrey Donovan is top notch as Michael Westen and Bruce Campbell makes the best side-kick that one private eye could ever have. And Gabrielle Anwar is wonderful as Michael's on-again-off-again love interest.
And if you like this show, don't forget to check out "Leverage" with Timothy Hutton.

I'm a fan!!! Great show, although I wish they would cut the intro so we don't have to hear/see it every time. We get it, he was burned. I know this is so any person who decides to start watching will get the premise, but it's annoying.
I also enjoy Leverage, although it is not must see TV for me. Maybe it's that the show really doesn't have a drive like Burn Notice has. It just seems random to me. It needs a clearly defined antagonist besides the job they are doing, like maybe someone who tries to interfere in the jobs because he/she was slighted by Timothy Hutton's character (is it bad that I still don't know the character's names yet?).

This has been piquing my interest, and Bruce Campbell adds some points.
How humorous is the show? Is it straight action, like My Own Worst Enemy, or is it closer to Chuck (just the first two "secret agent" shows I could think of.)

If you those shows are good, then you are missing one of the BEST shows on television - Burn Notice.
Yes it has its humor, but it action, and has a very decent story each week with a back-story that is prolonged throughout the season. After all he is trying to find out who burned him and has to take these other jobs to make money he can spend on trying to find out why there is a 'Burn Notice' on him.
Remember the letter NBC stands for Nothing But Crap, and if you watch anything on that network, you are missing some of the best shows on television, that play on the other channels.

Well, Chuck is great, My Own Worst Enemy, not so much, especially since there is little or no humor.
A show can be good or bad no matter what network it's on.
Would you say that Burn Notice is as humorous as Psych or Monk? Those are both USA Network shows that I love.

Well i find it just as humorous as Monk and Pysch but its not as goofy... The humor is more subtle and woven in with the action.. it not as much the focus of the show as it is for Monk and Pysch...
Heres a
clip from tomorrow's episode.. It doesn't showcase the humor really but you can get a taste of the action... I definitely recommend it!

My roommate got the DVD first season, so if I ever felt like watching it- I could.
As for what I've seen so far, all I have to say is - glad Bruce Campbell has a steady job

and finally some serious mainstream exposure. Too bad it comes when he's a little older and chubbier. He could have had a huge career.
