Anybody have any details about the February 3 releases yet?

I was just wondering if anybody out there has any insider info on the exact specs of "Those Calloways", "Follow Me, Boys!" and "Bon Voyage". I've been dying to own these movies on disc. I know the Disney Website shows that "Those Calloways" will be 1.66:1 :D and "Follow Me, Boys!" will be 1.33:1 :x but they don't give an aspect ratio for "Bon Voyage". I'm definitely picking up "Those Calloways" but I'll only buy the other two if they are not cropped.

We don't know whether Return to Oz will be anamorphic, but we have aspect ratios on all except "Bon Voyage" and "Midnight Madness", which I fear will both be Fullscreen. We'll see.

I just found out that they will be for sure in FullScreen releases. I have already pre-ordered them but I am still mad that they are not coming out on Widescreen release.

I hate to say it but these titles will be a rental for me. Not exactly my favorites.

Besides I'm mad that Ed Wood(Touchstone) was delayed from that day.

Dear Disney: no OAR = no sale.

When, when WHEN will Disney understand this concept? I think they totally misunderstand who the majority of buyers are for the older live action titles: NOT kids today, but people who were kids when they were originally released, and we, by far, prefer OAR.

I don't know what Disney is waiting for. Looks like I won't know the full specs until I have the disc in my hands!

I am going to buy all of the Febuary 3rd releases because it's the only way I can see these films. Does anybody know if stores like Best Buy or Suncoast will carry them? Or should I order them online?

D'oh! So Return to Oz will be non-anamorphic after all. It's pretty obvious that this is going to be a direct port of AB's, but perhaps the extra disc space will improve the film's appearance? Of course, if they use the exact same video as AB it will look just as bad, but perhaps they were able to include a better compressed image.... Ah, we'll see. At least this pretty much confirms that we'll be geting that 5.1 track again and we still get the trailers and TV spots that AB's disc didn't have (but was undoubtedly SUPPOSED to have).

Tsk, tsk, tsk. What are we going to do with that Disney?

I am not buying all of the Febuary 3rd Releases but I am going to buy a few of them.

I think that the artwork for BON VOYAGE! is really cool.

So 'Return To Oz' will feature nothing new in terms of a/v transfer and supplemental features over the AB disc, other than a trailer? Has this been confirmed yet?

The trailer and TV spots, both of which I suspect were supposed to be on the AB disc. We don't know for sure that the a/v will be a direct port, but the fact that it will be non-anamorphic makes it a good possibility.
