If I had to guess, it would be something along the lines of It's A Small World of Fun....or maybe the Timeless Tales Collection.
Short, cheap, handfuls of classic cartoons.

If only this were going to be "hosted by Ludwig Von Drake", and actually only a release of his old Disney TV shows. Unfortunately, only the first title would have given me hope for that. As someone who owns all the Walt Disney Treasures releases, the only way these sorts of releases interest me is if they have some never before released short, and when they do, it's usually just one, which is really more irritating than anything. It sucks to have to buy a 15 to 20 dollar DVD just for one short cartoon.

From the front page of UltimateDisney.com
After going more than two years without issuing one of their low-priced compilations of vintage animated shorts, Disney will return to the format this April with the launch of a new DVD line simply titled Walt Disney Animation Collection: Classic Short Films. The hour-long discs will include a lithograph and a vibrant foil slipcover while carrying a $19.99 SRP. Due April 7th, the first three volumes are titled Mickey and the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, and Prince & The Pauper. In addition to their famous namesake cartoons, the DVDs will also feature Brave Little Tailor, Thru the Mirror, Gulliver Mickey,
Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip on Volume 1; Big Bad Wolf, Three Little Wolves, Chicken Little, Lambert the Sheepish Lion, Three Blind Mouseketeers on Volume 2; and Old King Cole, A Knight for a Day, Ye Olden Days on Volume 3.

These discs are ultimately replacing the lack of new DTV's ever since that dreaful cheapquel business was shut down.
If you're going to buy dvd's as babysitters, why not some quality vintage Disney animation?
This is exactly what I hoped would happen. That Disney would eventually be forced to tap into their library instead of produce cheapquels. It will be a step in the direction of restoring the brandname a little.

I think I would have rather seen a couple more volumes added to Classic Cartoon Favourites, such as a Halloween themed volume.
I also thought Timeless Tales was going to get a fourth volume.
Is there any cover art posted anywhere yet?

If anyone has the info handy, could you please post which current DVDs have these shorts included. Trying to avoid double dipping as much as posible.
Thanks,
James

If they find a way to squeeze "Runaway Brain" on one of these future releases with the dialogue in sync this time, I'll be happy to pick it up! It kills me that the one in the Treasures collection is out of sync and folks didn't even really complain about it much. To me, that's a bigger issue than all the title card issues and other stuff that resulted in replacement discs.

So will the transfers be the same as the ones on the WDT volumes?

not that i don't care..i was appalled that it happened.im just too tired to complain considering the WDT comes in limited numbers..like disney would even care to look into it. one of my fav shorts..out of sync and it ruined everything..come to think of it i think pocahontas is also slightly out of sync..during colors of the wind..but alas...i can only sigh. im just an international consumer.
