"DreamWorks Home Entertainment has revealed early details on 1-disc, 2-disc, and Blu-ray releases of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa which will arrive in stores from the 6th February. The full details have yet to be revealed I'm afraid, although the 2-disc release will include an exclusive all-new Penguin Adventure entitlted "The Penguins of Madagascar". We'll bring you further details on this one as we get them."

Now I NEED to know something: I don't live in the US, but I'll be in Florida this January until Feb. 4. This movie will be released on friday, Feb. 6. Do you guys think I may be able to find a copy before friday? I say this 'cause some people told me when a movie has a friday release, TARGET usually start selling in on the tuesday before... Is it true? I wanna buy this Blu-Ray so bad!

It depends on the store. You might find it early.

If this is similar to the Kung Fu Panda release the 2nd disc with the Penguin Adventure want be part of the Blu-ray. Depending on the price I'll pickup the 2 disc DVD as a blind buy. The first movie was enjoyable.

It seems like this release came out pretty quick. It feels like this was just in the theater.

Try F.Y.E. If you're going to be in the Orlando area, the F.Y.E. in the Oviedo Marketplace mall almost always puts the movies coming out on the weekends on the shelves early. If you're there on the 4th, they should definitely have it.

As for me, I'm not sure if I'll pick this up. I really liked the first one, but only mildly enjoyed this one. Maybe if it's on sale cheap enough, I'll grab it.

They might. Are you going to Orlando to visit the theme parks? Because the Oviedo Marketplace mall is only about 40 minutes from Disney and 35 minutes from Universal.
