Maybe it’s in celebration of the company’s year of creation, 1923.
They could be releasing a new documentary on the company or on the history of Disney.. :?
Just some stupid thought of mine :)

By the way, from laughingplace.com:

Can't wait for March 10th! (although I don't know what I'm waiting for.. LOL)

Isn't 23 some kind of Jim Carrey horror movie?

...but not Disney. And it was "The Number 23".

I doubt it has anything to do with the year of the company's creation. It's a weird time to have an anniversary for something that began in 1923, plus the slogan just doesn't seem to imply that.

Why do I think it has something to do with the Disney XD channel or some other type of tweener-oriented content?

Disney is planning to kill everyone over the age of 23 so thay can then claim that they currently market their products to 100% of the population ;)

So, who here is 23?

26 here.

Something tells me that this ad has something to do with something new that's digital with the company. Maybe a new form of something that has the code 23. I don't think it's implying 23 as in age. I think it's something totally different than an age of something or someone.

The Great Mouse Detective was relased in 1986 and that was 23 years ago. Perhaps march 10th is the date when disney is gunna anounce an amazing 23rd anniversary 2 disc dvd and blu ray for one of there most underated films. Thats def likely.

I guess Disney is only going to make movies that are rated for people older than 23. Going the hardcore snuff route. They could still have songs in them, Sweeney Todd had them too :D.

Unfortunately, I am 31. But - it's intriguing that Disney has launched something like this. Other companies have done the whole "what the heck is this all about trying to get people interested" campaigns, but I can't remember Disney doing it before.

Can anybody remember this happening from Disney before?

Hmmmm - I think anything that WE think up is gonna be better than the real event! :(

However - if you look at the URL:

http://disney.go.com/23/twenty_three/preview/index.html

The word 'preview' in there makes me think that my guess is that it's just a preview for a movie/tv show that has either the number 23 somewhere in the title - or has something to do with 23 people surviving an event - or 23 people from the world being picked to go into space, or something along those lines. That way they can ask "Are you [ one of the ] 23?"

It IS getting us talking, but can it it live up to the 'Cloverfield' let down that might be inevitable?

23 people will randomly find a golden ticket to visit the disney (created 1923) and pixar (turning 23) studios...and through a disney-fied secret contest during the tour, one person will inherit both studios, like Charlie Bucket...lol i wish.

it's times like this working for the mouse would be beneficial...i should ask friends if they've been told anything about it...

I'm thinking this has something to do with Witch Mountain.

I will be in less than two days (01/08 ).

Does that count?

As for this, I've never heard of it until now and I'm completely clueless.
