Howdy! Now that I finally have my first 7 Disney Treasures on DVD (compliments of costco.com), I was curious to what is coming up. I see the ones that have been delayed to May. What and when are the following ones coming out?

The rumor is that these 4 will be in the next wave:

1. Mickey Mouse in Black & White Volume 2
2. Assorted Treasures Set (Featuring shorts like "Donald in Mathamagic Land" and "Ben and Me")
3. The Complete Pluto
4. The Mickey Mouse Club

I thought I had seen on laughingplace.com discussion boards that "True Life Adventures" was a lock for Treasures Wave IV. Then again, I thought that I'd have Wave III in my hands about 6 weeks ago!

Im pretty sure True Life Adventures & MMIBW2 are both confirmed for next wave release.

Well, that is still a subject of some debate. The December 2003 Wave 3 was DELAYED for some unknown (to me at least) reason, so the problem seemed specific to those Treasures.

I can't imagine, then, why the December 2004 Treasures shouldn't turn up on time. The Disney publicity website is still listing a Mickey Mouse in Black and White 2 promo for the end of the year

Buena Vista Home Entertainment explained the delay as being due to unprecedented and unexpectedly high demand for this Wave of Treasures; pre-orders were much higher than expected such that they went beyond the planned number of print runs. There was some controversy on the web on some websites that the delay may have been due to the Roy Disney situation, but I believe BVHE because of what is posted on this site - the increased number of sets for the Donald and Mickey in Color 2 sets that are much higher than previous Waves print runs.
