PM Problem/Request

O.K. having for some time now been both a UD member and someone who has received many PMs (some by people who joined after me and I thought the no PM rule applied to all who joined after a certain date in 2006) I am requesting that I be allowed to PM people (if possible, I know it's a long shot).

I hate to seem like jumping on the request bandwagon, but I was wondering too myself if there was any way I'm able to get PM. Since I've been here, I've had a lot of people sending me PMs, and for some members, I can't respond or contact back to them in any other way. Is there any way I could perhaps be able to send back PMs?

If you joined after a certain date, (I think it's the summer of '06,) then you weren't allowed PM priviledge. For Christmas '07, Luke posted a topic saying that if you wanted to be able to PM, post there.

I wanted to know WHY they were removed during summer of '06.

Well then maybe you should have worded your question differently, because it sounded like you wanted to know why you didn't have PM priviledges.

I think that it had something to do with bandwidth...the "no new members get PM priviledges" rule, that is.
