Anyone see this? Its in very limited release but is suppose to be on DVD January 2009.

Its from the producers of Saw. Great music! And shocking casting, but from what I have seen, perfect cast! The movie is rated R for STRONG language, gore, violence, and sexual content.

The storyline is this: In the future, the world population is facing massive organ failure. A company rises up, offering organs, but with a price. Much like car loans, if you miss a payment for the organs, they send the Repo Man and collect...even if it costs you your life. The Repo Man has a daughter with a rare blood disorder and since his wife died, he's hidden her away, but when she turns 17 she is restless and gets out and is totally unaware of how the world is out there. The Repo Man is also having to deal with his latest reposition. Blind Mag has missed her payments, he must go collect, but she is also his daughter's godmother and his dead wife's friend. During all this, the company that loans the organs has its own problems. The owner is old and dying. He has two sons and a daughter who are fighting over control of the company.

Don't know why, but the concept reminds me of the "Organs" skit from "The Meaning of Life" .

I think that some people will go see the movie just to see how bad Paris is in it (she may or may not be bad, but it's a marketing point, I think).

I've been reading about this movie for a while now...it's not my type of movie at all, but it intrigues me for some reason. I don't want to see it- the trailer was enough- but it's interesting how it's only in limited release and will be on DVD soon...from what I've read online, though, it's gotten, if not good buzz, than an interested buzz.

The director was 100% against casting her. He didn't want her name attached to the movie at all. But I guess she got herself an audition anyways, she came dressed for the part and wowed them with her voice and acting as the part of Amber Sweet. Frankly, the part is not a far stretch for her. Amber Sweet is "addicted to the knife", addicted to sex and drugs too. And I have heard and seen her perform in the movie, in one song, and she DOES have a good voice. She also plays the part well and I didn't recognize her at all. I think they probably could have left her uncredited and no one would have known it was her.

There is some scenes of a sexual nature in this video, just to warn you all, but they are dressed (somewhat), and also scenes of a scalpel cutting skin and blood. But this shows Paris can sing. Though I am partial to the Graverobber's voice.

No, I don't have it...yet. I plan to buy it and suggest others do too. This is an indie film and its difficult enough for them to deal with going up against the big movies, let alone illegal downloads of the entire CD. Its only $11.99 on Amazon.
