Hey you guys, I was just playing about on photoshop and transformed Ariel from a red head to a blonde. What do you think? Do you like her new look

Hey, I actually like it especially with the green and pink highlights

I can't even vote, I'm so torn! I think that Ariel is pretty, no matter what color her hair is, but red hair is awesome and more rare than blonde, so all in all, I prefer Ariel's hair the way we know and love it...

But she still looks great!

Anyways, I think it would look really cool if her hair was that same blonde, but her skin pigment and everything was still the same as the original pic. Clever idea I must say.

I think it might look better without the green and pink highlights, and as Jeremy pointed out the sking pigment is still the same so that doesn't help I think. Not bad though

I have to agree with you both on the skin pigment comments though. She's looking a little too pale but I do like her bra in pink and her tail in cyan. The new colours make a nice change IMO.

Well, didn;t you know they considered making Ariel blonde at some point in time, and actually, either because they assumed it or maybe by looking at some blonde ideas for her, some company made blonde Ariel dolls for the film release! They had to correct it with red-haired dolls later.

Anyway, I thought she would look good blonde for a while, and really, her mother, Athena, should have been brownish blonde to figure out how her sisters got any blonde hair!

I like what you did. Yes, her tail and shell colors look good, too. The pink highlights could fit into strawberry blonde, if you do some tweaking to the blonde and the pink.

Hey everyone

I've edited my original post. I've altered her skin pigmentation (so that she's less pale) but left everything else the same. In my opinion, she already looks so much better for it.

I've also included a picture of the original Ariel as comparison. Hope you like it, let me know what you think?

In addition, I did 2 alternate hair colours of the original image, inspired by jeremy88's suggestion

Looks like Eva Longoria! That may sound racist, but it's not, lol

I dont like her as a blonde, i dont think its mermaid enough, if u know what i mean.





I love the last (latina mermaid) picture it is adorable

I like my Ariel the way she is, thanks. I think it adds to her personality.
