Wow...it's like when
Antz went into production only because
A Bug's Life was in production.
Hopefully this can be chalked up to the same artist...because one of those is a RIP OFF!

Well this kinda happened with the Birds Of Prey TV show in 2002. The show premiered and had a really awesome poster but after it was cancelled a year later a suspiciously similar poster showed up for Underworld.
Sad thing is both ended up using thouse posters for there DVD releases so with such a long time since Underworld and people not really remembering BOP they assume that Birds of Prey is the rip off.
Now as for the posters at hand I don't really care which is the rip because I don't think that ether look very good.

I'd say Jeniffer's Body is the rip-off, because the Alan Ball show has been in production since Six Feet Under ended in 2005. And, yeah, True Blood looks more consistent with the posters, u kno, vampires, licking lips, kinda makes sense. I don't get the other one...

I looked into the plot and whoa is it bad, the synopsis is apparently as follws...
'The film follows Jennifer, a cheerleader possessed by a demon who begins feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. It is then up to her "plain Jane" best friend Needy to kill Jennifer, escape from a correctional facility and go after lead singer Nikolai and his Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.'
So I geuss she's kinda vampire-like even if the poster alone is kinda confusing.

It's a fairly simple concept, and could easily be a harmless coincidence.
For example, look at the 1995-1997 logo for the ABC soap opera "The City"
Then look at the recent Circuit City logo that started appearing about 5 years ago: (I remember it being 5 years ago because when it started appearing, the soap boards were awash with "OMG, they copied 'The City' logo!")
Coinicidence? Or was CC's graphic designer a fan of soap operas back in the day and subconsciously remembered the logo for "The City"?
