Wow. Any idea what the ratings have been like? I admit to not having seen a Drew Carey episode yet, but I do really like Drew.

AWWW. I liked him! He really worked with the show but gave it a extra something. I hope it's temporary or something.

I'm actually glad to hear this. I have been a long time TPIR fan and haven't watched the show much at all since Bob Barker left. I actually really like Drew Carey, however, just not on this show. He was not the right fit for this show, and it was almost awkward to watch. I hope the show lives on, with a new, more appropriate host.

One of the best moments from this season

I've never liked Drew Carry, in anything he's done. While I don't really care for The Price is Right, either, not being a senior citizen, incredibly bored and/or boring military officer or a an extremely bored student (though I am a student); I'm not really surprised he didn't work out on it. The man is just so irritating.

I'd watched Thursday's episode & just rewatched it from cbs.com & you MISHEARD him. I wondered why there was still nothing on a google search after 24 hours of him announcing it was his last season. It's because IT ISN'T!!! He merely announced just after the showcase bids & when they came back to find out who won that it was his LAST EPISODE OF HIS FIRST SEASON. He went on to say he'll see you again. It was merely the last first run episode. Reruns will be on until the fall season begins. He DIDN'T quit. I think he's a rock solid host & I never thought anyone could carry off TPIR after Barker but he does & he's going to keep doing it.

Ha. Well, that created a commotion over nothing. I actually wish it WERE true, because I love TPIR and Drew Carey... but NOT together.

Drew Carey was not so bad hosting TPIR, but I have not watched the show much because I am at work 3 days out of the week.

He is NOT leaving. Just day before yesterday they had an hour long special on TPIR & a couple other shows (on the TV Guide Channel) & Carey said quote "I love doing TPIR & I hope to do it for a very long time". It's as hard to get some people to believe this as it is to convince people Obama isn't a Muslim. I guess people will believe what they want to. Come the fall when the new seasons starts take a close look at the host of TPIR. Something tells me it's going to look a whole lot like DREW CAREY!!!

My dad just corrected me yesterday...Drew Carey said it was the last show....the last show for that season... Drew Carey will/should be back....
Sorry for the confusion everyone as I misunderstood Drew via the TV...

I know the ratings for TPIR have not been what they were when Bob Barker hosted it, but he raised the bar so high, it would be a long time before anyone can do what he did for the show.
That being said, I am still protesting Drew Carey's choice as a host. He seems to be very irritated and 'held back' while hosting the show. I think he was a poor choice for a game show host. He is much better doing his own schtick as a comedian and not having to follow a designed script.
"Who's Line Is It Anyway" is a great example of the comedy prowess of Mr. Carey, and I think that CBS should find a new host for the show, and let Drew out of his contract so he can 'become human' again and entertain those of us who prefer his comedic genius rather than his hosting duties.
