I think I choose Eric...

That was actually a really hard decision! I did vote for John Smith, though, because he is really hot (for a cartoon character!)!

Why is Prince Edward NOT on this list?

I think my username says who I find the cutest of them all

I thought the same thing too. After Phillip, I would probably list him as my second favorite. Unless maybe
suptertalies just wanted only characters who are animated throughout the entire film and not live action.

It must be because Edward is not the main love interest of Enchanted--and he's mostly only attractive because he's based on James Marsden (who is).
But I'm really disappointed that Jim Hawkins is not up there, as he is easily the most attractive male character Disney's created. For me, at least. After him, it'd be Aladdin. Then Hercules.
I'm glad someone made this topic though, because the "Happy Ending for a Heroine" thread has kind of got off-track.

Well here's my opinion on each:
The Prince: Blah
Prince Charming: Still Blah, especially that haircut.
Prince Phillip: Fairly attractive, he's the kind of person I'd rather be myself than have as a boyfriend. He's more of a role model for me than anything else.
Eric: he's a jerk, I know it.
Adam: Seems, too nice after being the Beast, still attractive though.
Aladdin: Now were getting somewhere! He's near the top for me.
John Smith: Based on Mel Gibson. Not good.
Shang: Not into Asians.
Hercules: Honey you mean HUNKules!
Edward: Based on James Marsden, a very good thing. For "handsomest" he' at the top.
Jim Hawkins: Come back when your 2 years older and I'll think about it.
Tarzan: Not really interested. Design seems akward to me for some reason.

Eric: he's a jerk, I know it.
What...?

Although I don't think Eric is the best, I've always wished I had black hair and blue eyes.
I agree with you about John Smith though--him and Phoebus are so
blah. And it's weird how Tarzan isn't really stand-outish, considering...
I disagree about the Prince and Shang, but I like the Oriental look. As for Jim, I suppose it's because he's around my age. Well, he was when the movie came out.

He always seem unlikable obnoxious, ignoring his responsibilities as ruler of his kingdom. He also just reminds me of many a dumb-jock personalities. Herc's not to bright either but he tries his best and always remains looking cute.

This is my list (although it sort of mirrors
Flanger-Hanger's

)
The Prince: I don't care for how he looks in the movie, but I think he's rather handsome in recent storybook pictures, like in my signature.
Prince Charming: Sort of handsome, but still kind of meh to me.
Prince Phillip: Of course, he's at the top of the list for me.
Eric: Rather handsome, but as
Flanger-Hanger said, he comes off as rather shallow and annoying to me as well.
Adam: A bit too much of a pretty boy for me, but I would still say he's rather attractive. His personality needs a lot of work though for me.
Aladdin: Never been a big fan of the movie or his character, but I will admit that he is handsome.
John Smith: Just one word - euch.
Shang: Never cared much for his character, but he is rather handsome.
Hercules: I love his face and especially his red hair. Definitely the third for me.
Edward: Any character based on James Marsden definitely places high on my list.
Jim Hawkins: Bit too young for me.
Tarzan: Not really digging the dreadlocks and his design just seems a little blah to me.

Because he is (based on) James Marsden, and that would be kinda unfair to all the other heroes.
(And mostly because I would also vote for Edward, only because I...like James Marsden

)
And I didn't add Jim Hawkins because I simply forgot him....

sorry for his fans, but I haven't seen the movie, so that's why...

Not to turn this into some kind of argument because everyone has their own view, but how is he really any different than the other princes? Prince Charming kind of ignored the need for an heir to his kingdom until Cinderella; Phillip sacrificed the arranged marriage (which would have presumably benefited everyone involved) for a peasant, which is the opposite of Aurora's decision; and the Beast, well, he got everyone cursed. Arranged marriages are somewhat of a disgrace as far as normal romance goes, but in the case of a monarchy (where the family line/blood is first and foremost) it is simply a prince/princess' duty.
I also feel the same way about Beast, who actually grows as a character and realizes his mistakes. People can change, it's simply harder to accept when you knew them the way they were.
As far as Hercules goes, I have to quote Prudence here: "Naive does not equate stupid."

The John Smith character doens't look like Mel Gibson: I've always understood his looks were based on Fabio's ( don't know much about the guy, but isn't he a blond photomodel and singer?).
Prince Eric looks to boyish to me.
HUNKules? He's a symphatetic character that's for sure, but to much of a charicature the way he is drawn. (Overall I don't like the style of Hercules very much)
I like Tarzan''s dreadlocks and his eyes.
I don't think that prince Philips looks are particualrly 'better' than those of John Smith's or Phoebus. So why do most of you think the latter are 'blah'/'euch' and Philip not?'
Maybe I like Thomas best (from Pocahontas) but he's a minor character, so he doesn't count.

Well, I don't know. I just never really cared for the character.

I guess it all just matters on personal opinion of what you find handsome. I personally prefer guys with brown and red hair like Phillip, Adam, and Hercules, and personally find them more handsome and cute. I guess I just never really cared much for guys with long bright blonde hair, hence why I don't care much for Phoebus or John Smith, and something about the way Smith's face is drawn I just don't like for some reason. Like you, I would say I much prefer Thomas over him.

I think Kuzco is the handsomest maybe its just because of his cute personality! But if its looks in general Hercules and Edward <33333!

I voted for Shang, for a change!

I think Aladdin is the most handsome, he's the only male Disney hero that the animaters allowed to have big eyes and on top of that he's modeled after Tom Cruise !

I chose Phillip because of all he went through to get to Aurora, he's always been my favorite prince (and the handsomest, imo, to stay on topic.
Tarzan, I wish his face had matched the BOD!
I always like Aladdin's pecs!
Bottom line, I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed!

I voted for Prince Eric just for the whatever of it.
BUT, let's have a little bi fun in this one
Snow White or the Prince: ugh, pass!
Cinderella or Prince Charming: Cindy takes this one.
Aurora or Prince Phillip: I'm gunna have to say Phillip for his character overall.
Ariel or Eric: Well, Ariel was my first child crush...she wins over shallow Eric!
Belle or Adam: Belle she's smart, she's nice, she's beautiful, she's the perfect woman!
Aladdin or Jasmine: While Jasmine is smokin' Aladdin wins this face off.
Pocahontas or John: Gunna have to say Mr. Smith.
Herc or Meg: Agh, tough one. I like Meg's saracastic personality more.
Mulan or Shang: While Shang is good looking, I've always had a thing for asian woman...Mulan! (as her chick self mind you)
Tarzan or Jane: I like Jane's accent...it's very Lara Croftish...and Tarzan needs to cut that hair! the proper Miss Porter wins!
