I'm a little confused. So, the CD will be old recordings of Howard Ashman singing his own songs? I don't think that'll sell well.... I don't care for his voice.....

Songwriters singing their own songs is the focus of the series. They may not be great singers, but there's something special about hearing a song sung by the person who wrote it. They know the song intimately and can interpret it in their own intended way.

Ah, I love this series so much. Can't wait to buy this.
And Poody, theater-related recordings rarely ever sell well. Besides, it's not like PS Classics is marketing this to thirteen-year-old girls, they know that these things only appeal to theater fans or fans of the composers.
