For about 2 years I have been trying to find out the name of a film I used to watch when I was younger, its partly live-action & partly animated, it's about a boy who goes to a library & rents 3 books & some how gets sucked in to a cartoon world (or something like that) and the 3 books are characters who help him get back home by finding the "exit". the 3 books characters are a pink fairy, a brown pirate & a blue crazy one. I also remember a dragon at the end guarding the "exit" does anyone know what I'm talking about? any help will really really be appreciated. I have tried looking on imdb.com & asking every one I know to no avail.

I have the Pagemaster Dvd and watched it last weekend

He went in the library to get out of a rain storm and slipped and was in the cartoon world, He borrowed the books after he came too.
