Buena Vista's "Army Wives" Official Discussion....

Could not believe the lack of love for this Buena Vista television show broadcast on Sunday nights on Lifetime Channel.

Season One has just been released on DVD, and I thought for sure there would be lots of talk about this show since it is back for a Second Season that started last Sunday, June 8.

The ensemble cast is first rate featuring Catherine Bell (Denise), Kim Delaney (Claudia Joy), Sally Pressman (Roxy), Wendy Davis (Joan), and Brigid Brannagh (Pamela) and they are supported by some hunks in their own right, Sterling K. Brown as Joan's loving husband Roland; Drew Fuller as Roxy no-nonsense husband Trevor; and Brian McNamara as Claudia Joy's husband, Michael.

Season One's storyline was very taut and well-acted, and the cliff-hanger was resolved quite eloquently with the Season Two opener.

I was just hopin for some good discussion on this very well written, and acted show that comes on Sunday nights at 10 pm (9 Central) on Lifetime Channel. I think this should be on immediately after Desperate Housewives on Sunday nights instead of the soapy "Brothers and Sisters". But that is just my opinion.

Anyone else watch this show??

Wow! 24 people looked at this, and no comment??? Can it be that I am the only one who likes this show?

Second week of Season Two was last night (June 15) and it looks like this is going to be a very good season of shows, so far. Only one major cast change for season two and that is Emmelin Holden is now being played by Katelynn Pippy who takes over the role from Caroline Pires.

Sorry you are all missing out on this show.

It is truly the best show on television right now, bar none!!

And my next favorite summer show starts July 10, when "Burn Notice" returns for it's second season.

Honestly, a lot of you "Desperate Housewives" fans should check out "Army Wives", there is nothing political, and whether you agree or disagree with our situation on Iraq, this show is non-political and non-preachy. Just a really good cast, and fabulous writing, and next to "Desperate Housewives" probably the best show on television these days.
