I just read the the Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray will have online features that you need a 2.0 Blu-ray player to use. Does this mean that 1.1 players won't be able to watch the disc at all ? Or will you be able to watch the disc and just not be able to make use of the special online features ? Thanks.

All Blu-ray players, even 1.0 players, will be able to watch the disc. You just want be able to access the 2.0 features with a 1.1 player.

The PS3 is 2.0 with all the firmware updates. Its also the only player with wireless for the Profile 2.0 content. Other players will require an adapter (you can use a cheap router and load it up with DD-WRT firmware to do this too), or you can run a network cable to them to get the online content.

As far as I know the main difference in 1.1 and 2.0 players is the BD Live stuff (online content).

I believe BD Live (2.0) also requires more storage than Bonus View (1.1) players. There's not much point in downloading content if you can't keep it anywhere!

It's assumed with the PS3 this will be stored on the hard disc - if you look there is a folder now for such content - meaning the PS3 has potentially tens of gigabytes of storage. On stand alone players the storage can be built in or, perhaps, plugged in as USB storage sticks to USB ports on the player.
