So this is just speculation but a person over at blu-ray.com mentioned that if you have Enchanted on blu-ray that if you watch the D-Files that is exclusive to the blu-ray that it shows clips of many disney animated titles one of those being Beauty & the Beast which was obviously in 1080p full high def. Could this mean that a blu-ray master copy is or has already been made? A few other platinum titles were there also but only recently released ones...

The only 3 of those that are confirmed are "Finding Nemo," "Pinocchio" and "Sleeping Beauty." FN and SB are being released this fall and "Pinocchio" will be released March 2009.

I would love to have BatB released on Blu-ray, which it will most likely in 2010 or so. I just hope Disney doesn't skip on the worthwhile material on the DVD......

to all the people who have all the disney dvds (classic and sequel, pixar etc.).. are you gonna buy them all again on blue ray?
