 That would be a sort of prequel (but it wouldn't be Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, because the story isn't about her!)

I saw that picture in 1st grade. And that was a long time ago, I like seeing it again.

Come to think of it, we don't even know what Snow White's father looks/looked like or if he's even alive...?

Anyway, this kind of thing makes me wish they'd have designs drawn for all the mothers and fathers even if they aren't in the story. It would be a hassle, and I can certainly understand why they wouldn't, but that would be a nice addition to the otherwise pointless merchandise the company puts out.

ٍShe's beautiful, she looks a lot like Snow White, I really want a Snow White sequel or prequel.

She's pretty. If I had to imagine her mother that's exactly what she'd look like.

Firstly, a prequel would cheapen it. ;)

Secondly, agreed on the design, much better than Ariel's mother... lol *shivers*

Lastly, thanks for sharing this, I've never seen it before. Her facial expression is kinda scary though. Like, she's crazy... reminds me of the grandpa from The Other Me.

I don't think her expression is "crazy" at all. She simply looks contemplative, as if she's considering baby names.

She looks exactly how I pictured her as well. A slightly more adult version of Snow, with a little bit of Grimhilde's features in her face, only more softer.

Supertalies, may I ask where you found the picture? :)

She looks elegant and wise and to some degree a carbon copy of Snow White. Her nose seems a bit weird to me though, anyone else agree? :?

Funny, when I think back to seeing Snow White as a young kid I remember a scene with her mother (who looks exactly like this picture... only in colour). It's another one of those cases of seeing Bambi's mom get shot I think.

Or maybe I'm remembering a book. Perhaps the same book other users have mentioned...

Who the h knows.

Strangely enough ,I can't remember..
I found it a long while ago, but I didn't add the page to my favourites, I only saved the picture. :brick:
Then I read some people were talking about SW's mother in another tread(can't remember wich one), so I posted it here.
I will search and I will post it when/if I find it!

Thank you so much for posting that image Supertalies. She looks just like I would have imagined. I would love a Snow White prequel; in fact I’d love to see the beginnings of all my favorite Disney films. I really think Disney should create a book series that concentrates on the beginnings of all our favorite fairytales. Therefore, no one would complain about bad animation and lousy voice-acting, which would come along if Disney decided to make an animated prequel to Snow White. I’d love to see how her mother died, how the king met Grimhilde and why he married her; was she nice at first but with an alternative motive, like Lady Tremaine? I’m sure Grimhilde had a part in killing the King. I’d even like to know how Grimhilde became evil; what motivated her at first? I have these types of questions for almost all of the Disney fairytales. I really think Disney should create some sort of book series that pries into the beginnings of all their fairytales, like the upcoming Ariel film is doing.

I love your idea disney villain but I'm pretty sure it would have to be rated PG13 if they had a scene with Grimhilde killing her husband but I've always liked the more gothic side of the fairytale.
Unfortunatly there are limits to how scary these movies have to be in order not to scare the crap out of the younger audiences.

That's a great idea,Disney Villain, they can make books about Cinderella,Belle,Pocahontas,Giselle,Jasmine,Mulan and Snow White.
Thought I think that there's a smiliar book called Once Upon A Princess, thouhgt Snow White,Aurora and Mulan doesn't appear in the book (Well,Aurora doesn't need a background, she has more background then scenes with her in the film and maybe Mulan too but Snow White does),insted they have Esmeralda (Volume 1 has Ariel,Jasmine and Esmeralda and Volume 2 has Cinderella,Belle and Pocahontas),they should have made Snow White insted of her.
