Urgent/ASAP: ?'s about busses/parking, Wide World of Sports
Posted: Fri May 02, 2008 2:00 pm
Tomorrow I'm attending the Disney Channel Games concert. I ordered 4 tickets, and 2 of the people are coming separately at about 6pm. My other friend has graduation and will be meeting me later in the afternoon. I want to get in line at about 7:30am or earlier, since my tickets are for the field.
Bobby's aunt and uncle are staying at Caribbean Beach hotel. Bobby just called and said that it's $12 extra to be added to a hotel room. We're eating breakfast with them on Sunday, so I wanted to sleep over anyway, so I'll just pay the $12 and sleep over.
If I do sleep over, can I go to Caribbean Beach and tell that to the attendant, and then park my car, register, etc., and then take a bus to Wide World of Sports? I guess my main predicament is this:
There is one parking pass per ticket envelope. I have 1 ticket envelope, 4 tickets, 3 different vehicles. I gave the parking pass to my friend who's coming late tomorrow. My other friend works at WDW and shouldn't have a problem parking her car, since she doesn't think that it'll be a problem. If I sleep over, I'll have a legitimate reason to park at Caribbean Beach, but I need to somehow get over to Wide World of Sports early in the morning, since I really want to get there early if the field if a free-for-all to get a good spot.
So, is there a bus from Caribbean Beach to Wide World of Sports? If so, will it be running at 7 in the morning?
If not, should I park at Pop Century and walk over to Wide World of Sports? Bobby said that Pop Century's cafeteria opens at 6am. I'm not condoning lying, but I could tell the attendant at the Pop Century parking lot that I will be there for breakfast. As long as they don't write down my license plate number, I should be fine, right? I could just not put up my 3-hour parking pass, if I get one, right? And then at the end of the night, after the concert, my friend could drive me over to Pop Century and I could drive to Caribbean Beach and then tell them I want to sleep over and pay my $12 (unless Bobby's aunt & uncle can register me when they wake up or even tonight)?
Please, please, please tell me all you know and give me advice, because I'm so excited for the concert but I'm freaking out about where to put my car. I want Bobby to drop me off in the morning, but I don't think he wants to wake up at 5am and he really doesn't want to drive me, plus if I sleep over, I'd have nowhere to put my stuff.
Thanks!!!
*edit, 6:17pm* So, I called Albert (escapay) and he said that it'd probably be best to park at Pop Century and walk to WWoS. And I thought that I might as well actually buy breakfast there, so I'm not lying about eating breakfast there. I still don't know if I'm sleeping over or anything, but hopefully my parking situation will be okay!
