I'm looking forward to picking up this album - I'm loving the sound and I think it's way better than "Circus" even though I liked that album also.

I'm also looking forward to the tour. I believe the promo should pick up starting with her GMA performance.

Can't believe she's on her 7th album! It's been an amazing ride since 98'!

There is much better music out there, and many better people doing it than Miss Spears, who in my opinion, has out-lived her 15 minutes of fame.

Seriously, dude, stop trolling. I've seen you say that before and you can't be acknowledged if you claim Britney's fame is a 15-minute thing. And I want to know how she's not a good role model; she cleaned up for her kids...

You know what? It's very popular to question Britney even when she's beaten all odds. You can have your opinion, but it has no grounds.

Moving on. I came here to say that she is currently shooting the video for Till The World Ends which will premiere on April 6. Ray Kay, director of Whip My Hair, Poker Face, For Your Entertainment, Justin Bieber's Baby, will be directing. Rumored premise is Britney dancing with her fans flash-mob style across the world. I think it sounds kind of cool, HIAM was interesting, but too much.

Okay, I tried my best today to watch and listen to Britney Spears. This morning she was on Good Morning America and proved to everyone that she still can't dance, and can not LIPSYNC worth a damn!!!! She looked beautiful and I will give you that. She is probably one of the top three best looking female artists out there today, but as far as talent goes I am just not sold that she has made the comeback that we all hoped for her. My favorite album of hers is still "Oops, I Did It Again", and my second favorite is her third album "Britney", just so you know that I am a one-time fan who is still looking for that comeback.

Today on FuseTV, don't know how many of you watch that channel or have it on your cable or Satellite system, but today (Tuesday) was "Britney Takes Over" Tuesday, from 5 a.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday. They showed a very interesting documentary about the making of her first album, and showed all the videos from it in the order they were released. Horrible lip-syncing on behalf of Miss Spears, and I did enjoy the documentary. Then they showed the Britney Spears Top 20 Music Videos (from the beginning).

"I'm A Slave For You" was probably the worst video in the Top 20. She can't lip-sync her own songs - what is wrong with that? My favorite videos in the Top 20 were "Lucky" and "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know".

Now I have one question for those who think that Britney is the second coming of whoever..................Just because a person can fondle themselves and spread their legs for the guys in the video, what makes that show you she has talent? Rubbing ones near-naked torso against a supposedly-sleeping young man is not a turn on for anyone that I know.

"Overprotective" was a unique video, lousy lip-syncing as usual, but she says in her voice-over that this was her 'breakaway' video aimed directly at her producer and manager whom she thought were being overprotective of her. Great video, great song, but why not just let Britney dance and move to the music, she can't lip-sync worth a hoot. I know the words to the songs and can lip-sync better than she can.

These are the reasons why I am so against any person who thinks that Britney should still be a role model, and someone teenage girls should try to emulate. Her lifestyle is filled with out of wedlock encounters, and drugs and alcohol. She shaves her head for some unknown reason and puts on an ungodly amount of weight, which was hard for her to lose. Her first appearance on her "comback" were laughable from the stand point that she couldn't dance in step with her dancers and you could tell she was winded after the first couple of minutes.

I went out today and bought her new album, just because everyone here is going ape over it. I found that it is easier to just listen to her than be subjected to her videos and inability to lip-sync to her own songs.

I got my CD today and it's amazing as I already knew, but I really wish they would release it in a regular jewel case. These stupid cardboard sleeves that alot of companies are releasing CDs in are not protective at all. My copy of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album is now completely destroyed because of this type of packaging, Luckily I replaced that album with the Reloaded edition though.

I know that Katy Parry's Teenage Dream album is now available in a jewel case, but the first issue of that album at least had a plastic tray to hold the disc in it's packaging.

I see you trollin', you hatin'.

Lousy lip-syncing? Britney is the queen of lip-syncing.

Anyway. Got her album. I'm so, very, happy. Not my favorite because it's a little too girly for me, but it's probably battling against Blackout for her best album. My favorite track is definitely I Wanna Go, hope it's the next single instead of Big Fat Bass.I loved waking up to see her perform; even though her dancing was a little half-assed, the routines were more complex than the last time she was on GMA so I think she's improving. Looking forward to Jimmy Kimmel tonight!

Apparently she did a Jackass skit with Johnny Knoxville!

First, I am not a troll. I have been around here longer than most of the UDers on this forum.

And I am not a hater. If you read my post entirely then you would know that I appreciated and liked her enough to buy her CD's.

Some said that I wasn't giving her a fair break, so I thought that Tuesday's appearance on GMA would be a start and then I knew FuseTV was giving her a 24 'exposure' and I watched that for several hours.

All of Britney's stuff before her "meltdown" was very good. But if you think she is the "queen of lip-sync" then you don't watch her videos that closely. If you are a male fan, then you watch to see how much of herself she exposes (which is more than I think she should, but that's me) or you just like the cheap thrills of someone you will never have.

She lip-synced her appearance on GMA and it showed. She has been busted on her concert appearances for lip-syncing, but that has become a normal thing for most of the new Britney's "wannabe's", so I won't go into that.

I bought her new CD yesterday at Target and I like it, even though as you stated it is a little "girly" than I like. But if she could transfer that energy to a stage- performance and do it live, then I might be swayed to thinking that she is back.

But let's face it, she has been there, done that, and has all the scars. She should just stick to making music and keep the personal appearances to a minimum if she has to lip-sync when she is on stage.

I did read your post. By the way, you should watch the Jimmy Kimmel performances, they were better. They did cut the better part of the dance routine, though.

If youo read the whole original post you would know that I was a fan of Britney Spears and proudly own her first three albums and her latest one.

I am not a hypocrite, I am just letting you know why I am not a "jump on the couch with Britney Spears" any more. Her music before her "meltdown" was showing what talent she really had. And I have always criticized her dancing, and her inability to lip-sync her songs.

Britney was a beautiful woman, and I have been hoping that she would come back from all of her drug and alcohol induced problems and be the star she was trying to be. Her performance Tuesday on GMA was terrible and I didn't see her on Jimmy Kimmel because I don't like Jimmy Kimmel and the only reason I would have watched would have been to see Britney and if she was any better.

Don't call me a hipocrite unless you can back it up!!!

I did read your whole post, which is how I was able to find all of the hypocrisy within it. In other words: I was able to back up my accusations...and I did.

Well, her album is set to debut at #1, but with low sales. Lower sales than Blackout. It's sad, but it doesn't surprise me. Lack of promotion, waiting for the last minute for promo is not a good marketing plan. And I wish she would just sing live once. Remember when she did You Oughta Know on her Circus tour? If she just lets go of her choreographer's hand for one minute and just jumped and walked across the stage singing live for a couple of songs, it would really bring the public opinion of her so much higher.

Don't get me wrong, I love her. But the buzz against her is too high for her to only do 3 TV appearances per album.

Lower, really? I thought it was predicted to do 300K, which would be right around Blackout's debut numbers.

But HitsDailyDouble also predicted Circus would do about 300K or 400K first week and it ended up doing 500K, so we won't know until official Soundscan numbers are in whether HDD overpredicted or underpredicted.

I wrote up a track-by-track review for the album! I wrote a little background info / introduction before the actual review, which is why it's so long. I know that not everybody's a Britney fan, so before I post the link, I just waned to warn those who aren't fans that the review is very very positive, so don't click if you don't want to read praises.

http://amateuralbumreviews.blogspot.com ... e-one.html

By the way, I started writing the draft on 3/31/11, which is why it says that's when it was posted. I actually wrote and revised 90% of it last night.
