We're going to Disney World in September. I'm wondering what the price to eat is there as well as soft drinks and water. Should I bring water into the park with me or can we buy drinks there that isn't too expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on your family's dining regiment, I would recommend looking into adding the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package. For USD$38 a night per adult, you get 1-table service, 1-counter service and 1-snack. The details are spelled out in the vacation guide or on-line at Disney World.com. I have used the plan, on my last two visits, and have saved a few hundred dollars each time.

There are other web sites that post menues and prices on resort dining options so check those out, as there are a wide range of entree prices to accommodate all budgets.

Drinks:If you are staying at a resort hotel, I would suggest purchasing a refillable mug at the resort's grill. They cost around USD$12 and have unlimited refills (e.g., soda, juice, coffee, etc) at the resort only. No it is not usable in the parks, but it is a good option for cutting down on the cost of individual drink purchases when you are resting up at the pool or in your room.

u can bring food & bev into the parks, they dont have a problem w/ that. just do not try to bring alcohol, that is not allowed.

20 oz Bottled waters go for about $2.50, 12 oz bottled water is like $1.70
20 oz soda goes for $2.50.

Yup, water was about $2.50-2.75 (incl. tax). Depending on where you eat, stuff will range in price. EPCOT, for example, has so many different types of eateries that you may explode in every direction. You can also BUY alcohol if needed there. Being tipsy in a Disney park is a unique experience.

When you ask "what the price to eat is there", do you want quick snacks or sit-down dining?
