Hey everyone.
:D I adore Desperate Housewives more then anything else and now we have a release date for Season 4 on DVD I want to know what everyone thinks should be included in this DVD set and maybe what you want to see in Season 5.

What I Want For Bonus Material:

1- Audio Commentary!
The Season 1 commentaries were great. Season 4 needs commentaries back at least for episodes 1 and 9.

2- A featurette featruing one of the women (like Gabrielle's in Season 3). There are just the right amount of Seasons left for them to cover all the women.

3- Making of the tornado episode
This episode was a major turning point and needs to have a featurette devoted to it like the wedding featurette in Season 3.

What are your thougts? This is all I could think of off the top of my head.

Season 5 Thoughts:
First off I want Katherine Mayfair to stay. I love her and I think she fits in the group so well. She serves a similar purpose to Edie, the woman who is counted as part of the group though she has many hidden agendas and often causes scandal amongst the women. Why I think this is a possibility is due to the fact that A) She has past history with Susan and Mary Alice and B) because she is becoming closer to characters like Bree.

The rumours that Lynette looses a child I don't want to see so soon after she has had cancer (hasn't she been through enough in a short amount of time?) or the propsed idea that the series will jump ahead five years at the conclusion of Season 4. This I can only see working during sixth season. Season 5 is too soon especially after Season 4 has had so many jumps.

Let me know your thougts on all this. I can't wait to see Season Fours 2 part finale. Its going to be awesome! :D

I'm not sure how I feel about the show jumping ahead 5 years in time. They'd have to recast Lynette's children and Bree and Susan would have 5 year olds running around.

such a weird idea :P

I'm pretty sure Dana Delaney's contract goes until 2010, so she'll be here for a while.

I'm pretty sure Alfre Woodard's contract is until then too, but yet she hasn't been seen since season 2. :P

Touche', but I think Dana Delaney has a larger fanbase than her.

:D Well I'm happy to hear about Katherine. I do believe she'll stick around. She does have a fan base and she is becoming a closer friend to the main characters then Betty Applewhite ever did. Katherine is already connected to Bree and Susan and with her strong grounding in Fairview from 12 years ago there are plenty of stories they could do that involve her. Personally in regard to Betty Applewhite I see Katherine as Marc Cherry making up for past mistakes. Katherine's story has similarities to Betty (you know moving in and have confrontation with the women due to her mysterious ways) but he has made her more greatly involved with the woman, given her stronger personally and given her a history in Fairview that we are constantly learning more about. SPOILER: I find it most interesting to discover she, like Gabrielle, slept with a minor :o lol
END SPOILER

As stated before I don't understand why they would jump the show five years into the future but supposedly according to rumours this is on the cards and with Susan and Bree's infants I can see it happening. But how will Julie, Andrew and Danielle suddenly age without them getting rid of all those fantastic actors? :?

Also I want to know what happened to the proposed Season 4 musical episode. Do you think it was all just Marc Cherry attracting interest back to the show or a passing joke the media took seriously. I can see him doing it but I'm still intrigued as to how he will. I think the show has become to grounded to suddenly have everyone burst into song. :? Though I personally would still love it being a singer myself :D
