I just heard they're bringing out Season 1 of popular, and i'm happy too because i loved that show and i want to buy it when it does come out. But what about season 2? how long till that comes out?

I hope it's not as expensive as the other DVD tv shows..

I also love that show "Popular".
But it only last 2 sesons(years).

oh well at least they will take out a DVD of popular.

Sorry, I have to disagree. I'm glad there was only two seasons. I would much rather see a "That 70s Show" season set come out before this.

But that is my opinion. TV offers alot of it.

IF they are making Popular, then why can't they make 7th Heaven? 7th Heaven has been out way longer than Popular.

I've never cared for any of those hour long WB dramas like "Popular" and "Dawson's Creek." However, I would love it if Disney would release their sitcome they made for the WB, "Maybe It's Me." It had Julia Sweeney as the mom and it was so funny. I also want both series of "The Torkelsons." I wish Disney would release some of these instead of "Popular."

7th Heaven is not a Disney production, it is Paramount. Paramount is planning to release the Complete First Season of 7th Heaven in the third quarter of 2004.

I totally agree. Why haven't they come out with 7th Heaven, I mean they only have like 10 seasons.

I've never seen the show Popular, but I might check it out if season 1 isn't too expensive. Depending how well it sells, they'll probably release season 2 eventually.

Popular was a pretty good TV show. I watched it from time to time when it was on.

I guess they'll wait to see how well season one sells and if it does well enough they'll put season 2 on DVD. I might buy Popular on DVD. I liked the show.

"We've known that season 1 of Popular has been coming for awhile, but the June 25th issue of Entertainment Weekly mentions that season 2 is already in the works, however no date is mentioned.

The article also mentions that fans can look forward to "a gag reel, outtakes, cast commentary, and deleted scenes - including an extended verison of Lily and Carmen's same-sex kiss." You can get more information about the DVD release on the DVD Release Info page.

We'll keep our eyes open for more information on the second season set, but we don't expect to hear anything official for awhile.

Does anyone know when Popular Season 1 and 2 will be reduced? I remember about two weeks ago this was mentioned on the front pageof the site, but I haven't heard anything else about it. I would really like to own both seasons but right now I just can't afford to shell out $50 bucks per season!

No, and for some reason that's not usually given out on TPRs (Temporary Price Reductions). It's also something that usually only applies to non-online stores. I'd have to imagine it'd be $10 or more below normal selling price to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine until August, I think.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? I think both seasons are being "rereleased" at the end of the month....
