Just ran across it on disneydvd.com as well. They are only selling it by phone, you can't order it online. Do a search for Fantasia and you'll find it. Why isn't this being publicized?

It's probably just a last minute restocking of stores, etc. because when it goes OOP they won't be able to get any more copies of it so they want a few on hand. It isn't being publicized because they're publiiciszing that it's going OOP instead, which it is.

I just bought mine in the store is there anything different about them?

It looks the same as the one in the stores. Just looks like DVDEmpire brought a lot to have some in stock for those who wait until it goes into the vault. I figure this is the date they get their stock in from Disney.

Their Is Odviously Something Wrong WIth Your Information because It Is Being Put Back In The Vault A Long With Jungle Book 2, Sleeping Beauty, Lady And The Tramp II, Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 on January 31, 2004.

I bought it the day it came out in October 2001...and had to buy it again in 2002 when I wore my first version out. One of the best DVD sets ever made. In a way, the Fantasia Anthology was the first "Platinum" DVD release, only without the elaborate animated menus and the CGI Zazus.

I got the Fantasia Anthology a few weeks ago, for Christmas, and the last disc the one called The Fantasia Legacy was like cracked in the center. And it didn't work at all. Stupid DVDs. And I can't take it back because the receipt is gone.

They Were Probablly out of stock on the item. And That Was WHen They Were Getting More In.
