Saban's Sissi the Princess

I wonder if anyone else here ever watched Princess Sissi. The animated children's series, which aired from 1997 until 1998 in European countries* was based on the earlier years of Austrian Princess Elisabeth of Bavaria, called Sissi by her companions. The show centered around her and her husband-to-be, long before the assassination took place.
It was an interesting series, captivating for any young fan of royalty and history. I would describe it as some sort of cross between a Disney movie, a Richard Rich movie, and the 2002-2003 animated series on American history, Liberty's Kids. The historical adventure mixed with better accuracy than typical for cartoons, along with the humor and the fact that this was a continuing series, definitely had a Liberty's Kids feel to it. (Or the latter had a Princess Sissi feel to it, since Sissi came first!)
Well now, am I the only person who watched this? I hope not.
The animation wasn't stunning, but the script was quite good.
*I am American, but am European by birth, and quickly found out about the television show.
