can anyone help me to find a list of disney classic films made. i have over 100 disney dvds. the mary poppins one i have says disney classic on the front cover but on the recent classic list enclosed with a dvd i bought it wasnt there?

i think i only have 2 to go for a complete classics collection.

any help much appreciated.

again im updating all my lists etc. the copy of the wild i have says classics on the cover but again not listed as a classic on wikipedia etc

This film isnt part on the Disney animated classics cannon due to the fact it wasn't made by Disney. It was made in Canada by C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures and distributed by Disney.

I still haven't seen this film. Is it any good? I decided I'd buy it if I saw it for a good price.... and a slip cover!

thanks for replying. it says disneys 46th animated classic on the back cover and disney classic on the front cover. id say its ok. nothing spectacular im afraid.

In the UK its listed as a Disney Classic. Lord knows why. I'm annoyed because it messes up my collection listing.

I enjoyed The Wild very much. I was one of only about a half dozen people in my theater on opening weekend, and I kind of feel good about being able to say I was one of the few people that saw it on the big screen. It's not on the same level as a true "Disney Classic," and it's not as unique and engaging as a Disney/Pixar movie, but I liked it for what it is. It has a unique viual style of animated realism, a solid story, main characters who I could relate to emotionally (father and son lions), and an effective but unobtrusive use of music. The few other people in the theater with me seemed to enjoy it.
