For Pete's sake. NO. NO. NO NO

Is this what the world is coming to? Are they're not already enough music and/or singing based reality shows on TV as it stands?

I wish it said what the winner gets...what is the aim of the show?!? Will the winner star in a production of HSM? What will they have to do?

Honestly, I probably will be watching this show when it premieres, since I love HSM so much, and since the HSM cast will make guest apprearances.

I guess it will be like "Grease is the Word" and they'll end up casting some stage production somewhere or other.

We've had such shows for Grease, The Sound of Music and Joseph and His Techincolor Dreamcoat. They're starting on doing one for Oliver in a few weeks.

And I hate them all! Why not just, you know, cast somebody normally?

I for one think it's a brilliant idea. I was just saying to my friend the other day how "High School Musical" doesn't have enough publicity.

That's so funny, because a friend and I were talking about that earlier today too. We were both so tired of hearing so much about The Black Cauldron, Hercules, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Song of the South. Sheesh, you'd think they were Gigli or something!

:P

The only High School Musical Reality Show I'd approve of is one based on "The Running Man" were I get mailed a gun and am told the cast is my prey...

Guh, I know, right? It's like, Disney's released "Song of the South" on DVD THREE TIMES already. They have like, a million tie-in products, from Tar Baby plush dolls coated with real tar to frilly lace collars, and it's like, hello, can I get a simple High School Musical backpack maybe? Jeez, these guys.

I seriously should just never drink anything when I'm reading UD...that was funny.

I think that it's a brilliant idea from a business prospective. Having it on ABC, rather than Disney Channel, is key, since they'll be raking in the advertising money.

And what if I just want something related to The Nightmare Before Christmas or Pirates of the Caribbean. I went to the Disney Store and all they had was Great Mouse such and such and Almost Angles posters and Miracle of the White Stallion plushes and Attraction specific junk. I mean, COME ON DISNEY!

the sad thing is that some Disney reps might not think we're being sarcastic.

ALSO: Widdi, is that Prince Phillip in your avatar? I didn't notice at first but, then I recognized the profile and I thought, wow that's interesting

When I read the title at first, I honestly thought this was a joke.

You know, it's really funny how just because Disney owns Pixar and "2D animation" is returning, people are like "OMG, like, Disney's 3rd Golden Age is here! YE@@DH!", because with trash like High School Musical and Hannah Montana currently being Disney's biggest franchises, disposable films like "Encrapted", the poor DVD releases in terms of bonus features, the decrease of Touchstone films, the lack of truly exciting upcoming exciting theme park attractions and the obnoxious amount of Princess junk, I'm willing to argue we are in much more of a darker age today than we ever were in the first 6 years of this century.

Sorry I offended you Brendan. Thanks for the link, I like his Disney stuff, and I'm not just talking about his "Disney Heroes series", although I don't think Jim is the best of that set. How long do you think it will be before he does Edward?

I was just kidding, you didn't really offend me. When I'm really offended, I don't use emoticons.

Yeah! and don't forget Eilonewy! she's everywhere! (in the princess franchise!) even there's a toy of her bubble! you know who they needs to show more? Cinderella,Aurora and Belle  and Ariel! she's so underrated!.
Widdi-your avater is based on the song "Christmas With My Prince" Aurora sings in the Princess Christmas Album? then i guess i was right guessing why she's exited for that Christmas so much .
