That's odd, they've been talking about a Teen Titans DTV for ages (in the 8o's comic style, not the anime-lite style of the tv series) but that Wonder Woman has come out of nowhere as far as I'm concerned.

2099net, It's called Teen Titans: Judas Contract.
The movie is still planned for late 2008 but might come out early 2009

And I should have noted that the Batman one will be in the style of TAS and not the Batman. Thank God.

I cant wait for the Wonder Woman one, much better choice than the Titans. That being said if they keep the quality of New Frontier and Doomsday I will buy any of them.

Isn't the Batman one in an all new style based on anime? (of the Cowboy Bebop more "serious" style rather than the emotion-like Teen Titan's TV series).

It is. Batman: Gotham KNIGHT (which has been planned for I don't know how long) is an Animatrix-like Anthology of six short films each in a different anime style. These stories will take place between the events of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. There will be separate one, two and Blu-Ray disc versions available. For a Sneak Peek go here...

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is still planned but has no street date.

Wonder Woman has just sprung up surprisingly as a sneak peek is on the press release for Gotham Knight. Not much is known.

Batman: the Gotham Knight will be the first DTV movie I've bought since The Lion King 2 when it first came out on VHS.

Apparently events from the 6 featurettes will be referenced in TDK and people who have seen TGK will gain a better understanding of the movie.

Thats cool, I have the last 2 the New Justice League, and death of Superman, I like them both but with Death of Superman they changed it way to much from the story which does sadden me. there was actully 5 supermen in the original story including steel and there was a lot more superheros

Mike,

That was my first reaction too. But when you think about that storyline it would be impossible to tell in a movie. It would be far too long. Maybe if they put a whole season of Superman:TAS to make it work.

Apparently Teen Titans: The Judas Contract IS in trouble...

'According to Marv Wolfman, one of the screenplay writers for the direct-to-video Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature, the DC Universe Animated Movie could be in trouble.

Wolfman states the movie is currently on hold because, according to Warner Home Video, there may not be a big enough audience for the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature to be successful. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract was originally scheduled to be the third DC Universe Animated Movie before Warner Home Video delayed it, opting to produce Batman: Gotham Knight and Wonder Woman instead.'

I thought 52 was very well done except for the overreliance on death as a plot device. Of course Countdown has suffered far more in that area and I think it has shown both in Critical reviews and sales figures.

According to one of the articles about Gotham Knight, there will also be another Justice League movie, as well as The Flash, Green Lantern, and the previously mentioned Wonder Woman.

These are all coming out of Warner Premiere, which is Warner Bros. Direct-To-Video branch.
