Yeah Or Nay to Second Generation or new Voices?

I HATE THE GUY DOING MISS PIGGY NOW!
Even Matt Lauer made a remark on the Today show about her new deep voice
Not to thrilled with Kermit
Mickey is Ok
What do you guys think of the new voiced behind these pop icons?

Nothing beats original voices, but one has to make due.
:: goes to hear the new Miss Piggy voice ::
....
I second that hatred.

i assume youre talking about the new voice actors of characters such as Mickey and Pals and the Muppets? I will only buy it if I can find LITTLE difference between the new voice and the old

but if it's too obvious that there's a huge difference in voice or voice acting then nay

Cinderella's new VA is alright, along with Lady Tremaine.

Rob Paulsen does not a good Eric make....

Dakota Fanning as Lilo...Ew.

I also don't care for Cam Clarke as Simba. EWWW.

I didn't even notice the difference with Mickey.

I'm baffled how you could hate the guy doing Miss Piggy because his voice falls slightly out of character for all of 2 seconds, and that's all that Matt Laurer commented on when he said that the "voice changed for a moment."

Otherwise, it's a nice match for Frank Oz's original throughout the clip.

Since no one has linked the clip in question:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16474030/

And for comparison, here's a clip of Frank Oz performing Piggy on "The Muppet Show" THIRTY YEARS AGO--there's not much difference:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=QaLxXI1sovc

Steve Whitmire has been the primary performer for Kermit since Jim Henson's death. I have always thought he did a nice job, even if sometimes he places the voice too far back in the throat. That's the trap that far too many people fall into who think they can do a decent Kermit impression. I've been performing Kermit at various live events for about 10 years now, and I try to emulate Jim Henson's actual voice since that's basically how Henson performed Kermit. If you pull the voice too far back into the throat, it becomes a parody.

Mickey's voice has been performed by Wayne Allwine for the last 30 years or so, and seems just as good as Jimmy MacDonald or Walt's ever was.

Well.
Snow White's new voice is kinda funny but i like it :D.
Cinderella's new voice is great :D.
Aurora,as Jennifer Hale she's good, her voice in Enchanted Tales wasn't that bad,in the Princess Christmas Album she sounds like a 70 years old singer.
Maleficent and Lady Tramine are good.
Does Sebastian have a new voice? beause i think the one that voiced him in Kingdom Hearts is also the one that voiced him in the Princess Christmas Album.

I've always hated it when they tried to recast someone as Snow White, because to me, her voice always sounded too fake and high-pitched and that really annoys me. Like in the "Disney Princess Royal Horse Show" computer game I have, Aroura's, Belle's and Cinderella's voices were great, (especially because I think that Paige O'Hara did the voice of Belle) but I couldn't stand Snow White's.

I like Cinderella's new voice plain and simple, (from what I've seen of Cinderella III) I love how it's sounds a lot like the original, yet there's a freshness to it.

As for Aroura's voice in the "Enchanted Tales" video (I watched it on youtube) her voice was okay, but I wasn't too thrilled with it though, (maybe I'm just partial to the original) to me, so sounded too weak when hitting the highed notes, especially the last one ("I'll show them what a princess can be.") Overall, I don't hate Jennifer Hale's voice, I just don't think it was right for the part. (I can't say what I think about Aroura on the Princess Christmas album, because I haven't heard it.)

Snow White does sounds werid but i like it :D i saw in YouTube clips from a Snow White show in DisneyLand, she wasn't sweet at all and i hated it :?.
Cinderella does sounds like the original (in the Princess Christmas Album thought she sounds like Belle).
Do you think they should have this voice for Enchanted Tales?:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv5dbTUkWQs
Thought she was okay in Enchanted Tales, but Jennifer Hale was better,in the Princess Christmas Album she sounds like a 70 years old Opera singer.

That song was really lovely and I really like her voice. :) Who sings it?

I like Jennifer Hale's voice, it's very sweet, but I still think they should've picked someone who had more of an operatic sound to it, it would've been interesting to see how the person who sang "I'm Waiting for My Prince" do Aroura in the Enchanted Tales.

I have no idea who sing it but i also love it :D,i suppose that in this song she's still Brair Rose waiting to find true love,i have no idea who sing it.
Maybe, thouht Jennifer Hale is the best one,yet :D.
If she was in Enchanted Tales i guess it will sounds more like the original Aurora (i imagined her singing Keys To The Kingdom).

You DO know Jennifer Hale DIDN'T voice Aurora in Enchanted Tales, right?

I took a quick look and it says on Wikipedia that Aroura's singing voice was done by Cassidy Ladden...(now whether that's 100% true or not, I don't know.)

In Enchanted Tales.

I'll take another look and see if I can find out who did Aroura on the Princess Tea Party Album.

EDIT: Lesley French does Aroura on the Princess Tea Party Album.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Princess_Tea_Party

I believe she also was one of the two lead vocals for "Once Upon a Dream" on the Volume 1. Disney Karaoke cd. (I like her rendition. :))

Sure thing, :D and no, not on the singalong, there was a Disney Karaoke cd series that came out a few years ago and I think that Lesley French was one of the lead vocals on Vol. 1. (The one I have.)
