Any Hidden Catches?

I really want to join, but it seems so confusing to me, and I don't want to join and get some hidden catch that stops me from leaving or makes me pay more money than I intended.
Basically I have a few questions as well aside from that.
1) What would shipping be to Vancouver Island, Canada? even a rough guess will help
2) Does tax or anything like that get added in on you?
3) I don't have a credit card, whats the next best way to securely pay for everything?
Basically I just want to know the exact price, since I only have an inbetween job, and don't want to end up without money or anything. Sorry if the questions are odd or kinda silly
