We're looking to go to Anaheim in September. We're looking for a place to stay that's close to Disneyland. We'd looking for a reasonable price range for 2 people.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever my Aunt, Uncle and cousin go they stay at the Howard Johnson if that helps. I'm not sure but I think it's rather close to Disneyland, I don't really know much since I haven't been there in years hope this helps a bit

You might check on-line for some exclusive packages from the nearby Motels and Hotels. When we went their six years ago, we got a package that included three-days, two-nights, and admission to the park all three days for one price, plus dinner at Knott's Berry Farm, which is just down the road.
Look around, write the Chamber of Commerce in Anaheim, talk with a travel agent, and most of all, if you can find a store that sells the Sunday Los Angeles Times, you can find some great deals for Disneyland.

If you are looking for cheap then the Super 8 is probably your best bet. Walk is probably about a mile from the gate although it is really close to the north west corner of the park. Usually about $70/night. Although, the Howard Johnson already recommended is the best value I have found at about $110/night especially if you like pools and hot tubs. Rooms are much nicer too.

I'll put my two cents in for the Howard Johnson and the Radisson Maingate.
HoJo is so close to the park, and the rooms are huge. Some may not like the "lodge" style setting, and it isn't the classiest joint, but it is a good stay for the proximity and the pleasant surrounds.
The Radisson isn't bad either. More of a traditional hotel, the in-house restaurant - Pickfords - is pretty good value, and often they will have deals giving you a meal discount. We stayed there for a week, ate at the restaurant two or three times, had room service one night and only paid $20 after we got a $100 rebate because of a special deal.
Either is good, but there are some great hotels in the area.

We changed our minds and are going to Walt Disney World instead. We've been to California but we haven't been to Florida yet. We're checking prices with Flight Centre and have them book everything, flight, hotel, Walt Disney World pass and any tours we want.
